  1. It'll prob come with double sided adhesive crap on it already
  2. My car is currently on a generic tune, however I baby the sh*t out of it as I am waiting for the extra $$ for more mods, exhaust, intercooler, turbo side intake, surge tank etc. Basically with a generic tune don't flog it, listen carefully, monitor oil, fuel to air and set up data logging on the sct to keep an eye on it. They are a part time gig only.
  3. Congrats on the baby mate :). My mrs is 20weeks pregnant so I know what you're goin through

    1. ratter

      ratter

thank you and congratulations to you and your partner, hope all is going well

  4. He never actually said that, he said get it diagnosed correctly. These cars are incredibly intelligent machines that when you plug a little device into it like this and it gives you fault codes that have been logged into the computer. Click on that code and it will tell you which circuit is at fault. Ratter merely stated that unless you do this, you could be at it for years and thousands of $$ for something that could've showed up as a dump pipe O2 sensor.
  5. Where abouts is this?? Looks awesome! I went driving around and couldn't find it lol
  6. How old are the plugs and coils? Sounds like it's dumping all the fuel from a cylinder into the exhaust and burning in there. Is it lurching and missing as well? Or just the pop?
  7. Is it like your brakes? When the clutch wears down the fluid goes down with it?
  8. Throw me in as a going not paid and ill keep an eye out for what's going on with work. Should be able to make it though
  9. Was a horrible burnout lol Where's that at Bel?
  10. Seen a lovely "EGO" I think FG F6 ute filling up behind me in Phillip BP today. Just to let you guys know, I'm pretty sure this is now one of the cheapest places to fill up in Canberra atm. $1.39 for E10 and $1.57 for 98. Cheaper than when I'm working in Sydney lol. The mrs discovered it
  11. What's the ESP sticker from?
  12. You're welcome mate!! :D
  13. Got my license back today and getting around all over Canberra. Keep you're eyes out for me
  14. Hey mate, and welcome. If you're gonna get a whole new exhaust, it's gonna need a tune(unless you only get a cat back). First time you get a tune done the little tuning device is included in the price so it can be a bit pricey. So you're better off getting a few things so you don't have to tune it as often. Every little mod you make affects it so every time it's modded it needs a tune. Assuming the XR50 is a turbo, not quite sure.
  15. These cars are very very particular. You basically take a p*ss next to it and it needs a tune. You've changed the intake airflow and removed exhaust restriction, it needs a tune. Either send it back to stock until you have all the upgrades you want before you tune it, or tune it as it is. It won't run right until its tuned after its modded in almost any way.
  16. Yeh he was humpin along with his mates. Showing off a bit cos they were starin at my misses out of the rear and passenger seats lol
  17. I'm getting one for mine in the near future and turning it into a CAI
  18. Lol nooo my little brothers want to come aswell. So driver only is it? Sucks a little but could be worse lol
  19. Nice orange one near erindale at about 10pm. Was in the missus' car lol
  20. No what I mean is how many people can you have in the car with you? I.e spectators and passengers. I will be the only driver
  21. Is there a limit to the amount of people you can bring in with each car?
  22. To the blueprint B series ute driving like a f*****t near Dara in Dickson, it'd be appreciated if you took the antics away from school kids playing sports thanks. Ps it goes like s**t and sounds worse than a v6 vn commodore
  23. Sign me up mate! I have my license back next Friday. I won't know work schedule until much later on so as far as I know I'm in!
  24. I'm all up for that too!... Whichever you guys choose ill be in on. Anytime after next Friday
  25. There's a small nipple on a pip just behind where the bov is located. This is where the vac line goes. If you remove the pipe while its idling you will hear the revs increase, put it back on you will hear a suck and pop in the bov and revs will return to normal.
