I was under the impression that the only way these cars could be stolen was either on a flat bed truck - which has happened to a couple of forum members - or if they got your keys- which I think has also happened to a couple of forum members..... having said that, if they want it bad enough, good luck to them....they also better pray they don't get caught in the act as I'm sure most of the members here would take some sort of action against would be theives..... :biggun:

I think I spotted Toxic Beast on Friday night going home down Burke Rd....had the sticker on front left with red plates.....gee, you can really spot that colour from a mile away and know its a XR....

It actually worked out better for me, as another dealer gave me a better price the day after. And the funny thing was that the car was sourced from the dodgy dealers stock controller. Flukey - out of curiosity - is the dealer Strapp Doncaster?

Sounds like the same thing that happened to me...got quoted one thing driveaway over the phone....get there the next day to sign up...."ah, sorry mate, we forgot to add GST, its an extra $4,500....."

As the others have said, take every opportunity you can....I had mates that were on the tools earning really good money while I was putting myself through uni without a cent to my name....but 10 or so years later I've managed to buy into the company I work at, work my own hours, and the pay is fantastic.....my other mates are still on the tools with the uncertainty of when their next job is and how they're going to feed the kids.....oh, and as newl said....I work to live, not live to work.

there are actually idiots out there that believe this....I had a clown in a SV6 wanting to take me on last week....even the missus was surprised with her comment "is he trying to drag you with that?" - I don't think I've laughed so much in recent times.....
