  1. And those that think Today Tonight/A Current Affair are cutting edge journalism.
  2. Meh - no one honestly cares about her other than the media. Haven't come across a single person who gives a flying. What I don't get is they're paying her $2million for the interview - only 1 million cared enough to watch the show (compared to 2 million who watched INXS) the other night and I can't see any value in something they need to recoup $2 for each viewer to break even.
  3. Probably seen this but: DTC # Description Mechanical Sensor Electrical Other P1132 Lack of switching signals from O2S11 (System indicating rich operation) (I6 and bank 1 V8) Defective induction system. Exhaust leaking between the engine and catalyst converter. Defective fuel injector/s Defective sensor or wiring (Note:- there may be multiple DTCs displayed that could have triggered this condition)

No car for a couple of weeks, but would love to catch up with some when I'm back on the road.
  5. I think that's correct, not sure if it's angle or rotation speed that's measured though - even slightly different diameter tyres (eg old vs new) can cause some havok
  6. Was absolutely knackered after work today (was a huge weekend) so nodded off when I got home. Phone woke me at 8:30 "oh crap, I'm running late" Disorientated I start getting up and heading to the shower. Then I slowly work out it's 8:30pm, not 8:30am tomorrow morning. Felt pretty damn good
  7. I think the idea is (if you're driving a bit harder) the box thinks you're probably slowing down for a corner, so holds the gear for you.
  8. Handed the keys over this afternoon and got to meet the new boss at Pitlane - definitely a task master. Cutest smile Worst part of being without the car now for a while is that the dog will be sad with me each morning when I leave for work - she can't fit on the bike. :( This is going to be like the lead up to xmas when I was a kid, getting closer and closer to the day I get the car back
  9. Another reason not to bother turning on the telly for the next month or so.
  10. All good - I get proper "protected" batteries (vented and cut off on charge) - as are all the ones from the major vendors Stories of the Dell laptop batteries exploding (and some iPhone ones if I remember correctly) didn't cause a mass media frenzy about how all notebook computers and mobile phones are life threatening.
  11. Get some sleep ratter and stop reading forums - need you bright eyed and bushy tailed tomorrow when I drop the car off
  12. Am more than happy to join the Dag's bandwagon and agree with that
  13. Good luck Was a no-brainer for me. What strength did you order? (18mg is my staple) Hardware wise I'm using ego batteries with vision v3 dual coil clearomizers\ Did enjoy musk - will order some with turkish delight next time. If you run out of juice or hardware or want to try something different give me a message and I'll send something over to you
  14. Exactly - I only found out about them through this forum. After talking to them I'm travelling a long distance to hand the work over to them (they must be at least 5kms from where I live )
  15. Am in as long as we don't need to be running neons
  16. From memory it'll be gas injectors intake intercooler cat couple of tunes (gas and a petrol/gas compromise) ZF tune Probably forgot something or added something that isn't there. Pretty sure it'll be as much as is comfy on the gas system. Pretty sure they'll let me know if there's something that would be better being done differently
  17. Soon I'll be able to move on from the off-topic threads and start chatting with the big boys
  18. Bel got onto me this weekend to let me know they're ready for me to drop the car in for some tickling I have never felt as relieved or as calm before for a major operation as I do right now. Never would I have imagined that a workshop would ask you to wait before you gave them some cold hard. Mick and Bel did - their first concern was that my car was run in properly and any potential warranty issues were allowed to show themselves before they put a spanner to the vehicle. "Come back next year" would normally be taken as a suggestion to go elsewhere. Not in this case - it was a show of concern and care to make sure that everything was done at the right time and with the correct knowledge/understanding/info and km's on the clock. Each time I've had the car serviced (twice so far) has done nothing but reinforce the feeling that I've found the right people to move forward with - even a warranty issue I had was diagnosed by Andrew during a service and took about 3 goes and 3 months at Ford to come to the conclusion that it was exactly what Andrew said it was after a bit of testing. Took the car for one last run at Calder last Friday as a stockie because I knew it wouldn't be too long before the time was right to get the tweaks happening. The whole way home I was just itching to move forward on the mods. Next morning I wake up to a message from Bel asking if I can drop the car off next week for them to do their magic. I think my reply was "YEP" (abbreviated, but that was the gist of it) Am really looking forward to what comes next.
  19. Disposables are absolute crap - cost as much as ciggies and don't have the kick. Do it right and do it once - 30ml bottle lasts me a working week, or over the weekend. Costs maybe $5 with the flavour I like and the strength that works for me. (mixing myself) Others use 5mls a day - some use 50mls a day - up to you to work out your happy place. Only worry I ever have is running out of juice, battery or if the hardware dies - plan right and that never happens. Went from 40+ a day (weekdays - more on weekends - would have been $200 a week now) straight to the e-cigs - was a straight swap. Zero cancer, emphysema, out of breath risk anymore - no worries about turning back. Absolutely no feeling of needing an extra hit or anything. Been 2 years now and zero ciggies - still got my nicotine hit (no worse than caffeine) without the bad sh*t. Without the e-cigs I'd still be giving up every other month then getting back on the train harder than ever after a beer at the wrong time. Less than the price of a coffee a week vs $20+ a day, $200 a week if I was on the ciggies. Only hard part is choosing the flavours to try - fruit ones are good (blueberry or raspberry are awesome) , but I love vanilla and have even tried bacon and chocolate flavours. Menthol or mint is my go to one now. Peanut is oddly satisfying too - Imagine the taste of roasted peanuts, but with nothing to chew on
  20. Promo girl at the top shelf boutique alcohol festival today - made me happy
  21. Healthcabin for my nicotine juice Juicewhore for flavours (or just get flavoured nic juice from healthcabin) I get hardware from whichever I'm ordering from to keep me topped up and combine postage
  22. Yep - e-cig gives me the nicotine I need - the flavour I choose - the draw I love and only costs about $10 a week
