Stock at the moment - dropped it into Mick and Bel at Pitlane yesterday for some goodies Not sure where it will fall (all cars are different), but am tipping it will be somewhere between 280 and 320 lol Anything over 300 and I can post in the 300+ club Ran a 12.9@107 stock (have done a 108) for the 1/4 so the difference there (and the driveability) will be more of an indication of the improvement..
  2. Just the bone left - could try to get a pic of that, but the dog would go me
  3. Not sure how to add video, but reminded me of this:
  4. Found a "What's for dinner thread" Tonight was a couple of fat rib-eyes cooked to perfection over the coals in the Kamado. Life is good
  5. I like to think I'd doing my bit to help the firefighters. Washing my car only causes rain for the afternoon - this should give a good week or two of downpour
  6. The capsaisin sp?? triggers pain receptors in the mouth etc. I don't think we have any on the inside, but may be some action in the form of reflux/burping that could be a bit of fun? Depending on how it got digested it could be fun on the way out too. edit: or.... it could kill you :S
  7. Make sure you measure the temp of the outflow - will answer the question that started the topic in the first place
  8. The fumes coming off something I've doused in a hot sauce and put on the BBQ are bad enough for me. That or preparing food bare handed with any of the hot chilli's - make sure you wash hands thoroughly - then wash them again - then wash them again - then put gloves on before going to the toilet
  9. Yeah - not something I'd volunteer for :S Mate got a bit of blowback when he was quelling a riot - took the wind right out of him
  10. If everyone just started adding random <br/>'s throughout their posts do you think we could drive Dags postal?
  11. Pfft - pepper spray's only 2-5M SHU's - there's a few of Blair's extracts that are almost 20M
  12. Man up, grow a beard and take the heat
  13. As I said about the megadeath sauce - it's more of a food additive than a sauce. A few drops of it in a bowl of chicken & sweetcorn soup and it's awesome. The cooler ones (compared to the killer ones) are great for their own stuff. My favorites: The El Yucataco?? green hab sauce is bloody awesome dribbled over pizza - especially ones with seafood. Sriracha (cock sauce) for anything noodle wise Snags etc get a decent dose of one of the tomato based ones (some great Aussie products here) Eggs explode with good old Tabasco - hate it on anything else (too much vinegar) - does go good with tomato juice Cheap steaks, chops come alive with whichever takes the fancy at the time (decent steaks stand alone - don't need an extra flavour) Chicken I prefer to marinade overnight rather than add the sauce once cooked - Nando's here is perfect
  14. Yep - For a bit of fun check out the guy who bred its videos - he eats the most crippling chillis and explains the taste, sensation and where it feels like a red hot poker really well.
  15. Nah - there's no way Nando's are that hot - I can pour a table spoon of that and just suck on it to enjoy the flavour. Even the 10,000 El Yucateco Sauce is too hot for that. I can't find anything that looks reasonable though - all the estimates I saw were along the lines of : 1 chilli is 5,000 scoville, so if there's 20 chilli's in every bottle then the sauce must be 100,000 Got a Hab plant at home just starting to flower - will be interesting when it gives some fruit
  16. Or steak (falsies) The day that happens is the day I put myself down for euthanasia. (looking at a couple of fat rib-eyes I've got ready to chuck on the charcoal tonight - If I can't do that I might as well be dead)
  17. Nice site for getting an idea of the different sauces Blairs Megadeath Sauce is probably the hottest one I've got in the fridge at the moment - more of a food additive than a sauce though (doesn't taste too good on it's own) Just guessing I'd put the Nando's hottest around the 2,500-3,500 scoville level? Just a bit hotter than Tabasco?
  18. Takes a bit of acclimatisation. Slowly you can take hotter stuff without it affecting taste (can actually taste more) I do agree though that heat for the sake of heat is pointless to me (unless it's to impress your mates - "here, try this") That said though - while the Nando's Extra Hot sauce is more than bareable (barely raises a tingle) - the lesser hot ones seem to have a lot more flavour. I do find though if I've gone a while without anythiong spicy then I need to turn it down a few notches and work my way back up again.
  19. Love my hot/spicy sauces (Tabasco isn't very hot, but is brilliant on eggs). Never had the ring of fire - If I do have something too hot though I get the hiccups. Two of the shelves in the door of my fridge are filled with different chilli sauces
  20. Not to the point it actually burns Mouth, armpit, stomach and rectum are all within about a degree of each other if healthy I think?
  21. Or going in the other end (chilli/spices/acidic can result in a burning sensation, not an actual burning)
  22. Am sure the union fees you don't pay are better spend on cookies for you instead of hookers for them
