Try manual shifting in the morning and see if it's any smoother. Mine used to (before I got the tranny tuned) not change back to 1st from second, making take off from a stop sign etc seem rough as it's first shift from 2nd to 1st, then to 2nd - was really noticeable/annoying on a couple of intersections especially. (I think it's by design feature, not a flaw and was one of the main reason for the tune)

Yeah - problem isn't getting them to work with windows - they work fine on the PC already. It's the extra layer that the "Play Anywhere" throws up - from what I've (quickly) read it does the same (or similar) hardware check as on the XBOX ONE - hardware chip or something on all 3rd party devices. Game will run more like an app rather than as a normal program does.

Not sure - there could be. It uses a different subsystem for the "xbox anywhere" games I think which is a bit of a closed garden. Sounds like another fail by MS to make a proprietary gaming ecosystem within windows

Wouldn't be my cup of tea, but plenty like it. Really wouldn't be interested in jumping in a virtual air taxi and flying to another country for 8 hours, but there's heaps that do just that. There's a whole ecosystem for those that want to do it that way, including people at the other end of the internet playing virtual aircontrollers and radio tower operators. This is the post that got me off my butt to get the simulator back up and running and update my PC Turns out that Horizon 3 on the PC will only work with XBOX compatible wheels and pedals. Argh - really don't want to get another wheel base just for the 1 game.
