Hi I own a ba mk11 ute and there is a issue with the dual zone climate control, If I have both sides set on hot, it comes out cold on the drivers side and hot on the passenger side, and all the time there is constant rattle and knocking sounds behind the dash? Does anyone know what this could be? And where I can get it fixed cheers!

I have exactly the same problem in a 05 mk11 6 speed, was it coil packs?

How much can I get a hardlid for my ba mk11 ute for from ford? Or is there somewhere else I can get one? Cheers Adam,

G'day all finally purchased a xr6 turbo ute ba mk11 6 speed manual, last night, love it heaps so nice to drive so fast etc compared to the ol' toyota hiace, (my previous car) anyway today after work driving home, hitting boost in 1st and second, was getting like a rattle/shuttering noise from under the car, sounds like maybe exhaust hitting on the tailshaft or something? And then it kinda got worse was getting it on off wherever I drove just rolling in nutural or accelerating, was just wondering I'f anyone else has had the same problem? Or knows what it might be? What's the 5 speed manual like in the ba in comparison to the 6 speed manual in the ba mk 2? When it comes to doing heaps of mods? Is it true that it's a whole lot weaker? Cheers

Is it true that when you start modding a 5 speed xr6T the gearbox is going going to sh*t itself because its weak when you do a fair few mods from factory? and the 6 speed manual is heaps stronger? Cheers...

Haha yeah cheers I'll keep that in mind, yeah it's still a little bit of a hassle buying one from the mainland because I would have to take out a loan and go over on the boat but I wouldn't know weather or not I was buying a lemon so I would have to maybe fly over and have a look, and then there is the problem of it maybe being sold.

Haha I look like a fool, yeah caresales is a pretty good indecation shame I live in Tasmania though. Everything is dearer here, yeah after a 6 speed manual, kms preferably under 160. doesn't have to be modified at all, just waiting for a decent one to pop up over here..
