  1. just get the thing bloody finished already
  2. reckon their the same if not very similar to BCL's big beasty wheels. think his were 6 spoke though
  3. konig unknowns. Looked horn as on my ute.
  4. Good ol Aus Post.... waited 3 weeks for a parcel only at the start of this year, Found it in my speedboats passenger seat just by luck!!!! No note, nothing, just sitting there un-aware of any delivery.
  5. nice work, their a sexy kit!!
  6. Ill give you $5 not to post that mug on here again.
  7. 6B00ST, Less boost for same power would be a more preferred option for alot of people at this power level.. A larger exhaust will achieve this. Longevity plays a huge part over 400rwkw, even on a built motor your still always cautious.
  8. DONT BUY A 3' SYSTEM...... some 3' systems wont even tune correctly past 300kw, the STOCK system with a cat still works reasonably well till 310-320kw. Xforce,SMB,APS,Nizpro... any of these are decent. Xforce is best bang for buck system with all the bling.
  9. My old ba xr6t ute used to do exactly the same random pop/fluctuation on idle with Bosch 968's... 3 tuners had a crack, all popped. To many bloody variables with them.
  10. ring 13FORD and put in a complaint about the dealer, 13ford actually does seem to get the service manager a bit angry and you seem to have better luck. Dont take any sh*t, if it sounds iffy, question the sh*t out of it and ask for proof proof proof! If all else fails, find another service agent who you trust, Aslong as they are a registered authentic mechanic your still covered by warranty. Im un-sure as to how warranty replacement parts are issued though, the mechanic might get payed back by ford after the warranty claim is authorised..?
  11. You must have rubbed him the wrong way.... Alot.
  12. Yea 40-50,000kms sounds about right for a street car without regular hard stops. Throw in a few track days and regular friday night blasts to 200 and I dare say youd be lucky to get 30,000kms out of a pair of fronts. In saying that, you should be able to get them re-machined ONCE before they will be undersized, so technically, 70-80,000kms a rotor.
  13. Add another negative ground just below the battery tray somewhere, My battery is mounted like this and I find it doesnt charge the battery properly, after a week of not driving you can notice the difference in starter motor cranking power... 2 weeks no driving and its nearly flat. This happens on my new battery too, so its not a dying battery. Cheap insurance anyway, Find a bolt close by the battery tray to use a ring terminal on, that way you dont have to molester the car.
  14. PIFFLE!! No such thing as better fuel economy with drilled stockers, Get a new tuner who knows their stuff if this is what he suggests!!! Deka's for sure, $370 a set is cheap as chips compared to the early BA era when the only larger options were $650+ a set for 42lb'ers.
  15. Lol where do you shop?? If you get it done BEFORE damage occurs (Note:I didnt say "WHEN") you shouldnt pay more than $1800ish, Call Bayswater Autos. Doubt he's in requirement of a larger stall only wanting 300kw... Not many ever do.
  16. Valve springs are the better part of $800 installed, unless your a confident person with engines, I would rather pay to get these done professionally. Dropping a valve isnt a cheap fix.... Do yourself a favor, Dont buy the Nizpro springs. Custom tune is another 500-700 on top of the flash tuner purchase, your tuner may be able to do a package for say $1000, xcal3 + custom tune.
  17. get a mate to watch your engine while you stall it up, the engine will dramatically move to one side, or get on your back and have a look!
  18. stick to 30 profile youll be fine, dont go 35.
  19. jeez, Grew up in Broken Hill, Living in Mildura now, seen more than my fair share of "Concrete Cowboys" around..... heaps of sh!t!!!! their all Bundy drinkin bogans who think daddy owning a 4acre hobby farm growing grapes makes them cattle hearding crutch'in shearers.... Never met a decent one yet, Run em all over.
  20. lol... you tightass. Ive had a set of the Bahco reversable ratcheting ring spanners for a while now, 4 different sizes in one spanner, 3 spanners to a kit. Little birdy tells me Bahco/Snap-on, Same! Their unreal when doing a minor service on a car or a air intake change. THESE ONES
  21. in stock location in the pillars if their not to bulky (providing your car has premo sound pillars), if not I bought another pair of plastic covers that go inside the door mirrors, and used my boston tweeter pods screwed into them. Looks decent doesnt stand out at all.
  22. Nah got them from a local Bearing shop, they were in their tradies catalogue. Their a USA brand, Bowman & something.... possibly ?? lol... Ive seen the same stuff used at work and it all seems great. $65 for 10-17mm set
  23. TOP speakers. If moneys no issue, Morel. either one is top quality, Dont skimp on the amp though, and by saying that I dont mean feed it a high RMS kenwood, give them a top amp to boot. No less that 80rms each.
  24. Bloody thread got my tool fetish fired up again... went and got a set of Alden spanners after work friday! Doubt ill use them anytime soon, but I think they will have a use one day worth their money in gold.
