Guys I'm on the side of the road driving cross country .. My turbo has totally stopped working I've got no boost and THe left heat gauge is increasing up to half way.. It's a FG f6 ute 330rwkw It's got half a tank of 95 and half of 98 mixed Any ideas guys ??

Ok well I made it from Perth to eucla (sitting in motel bar atm).. No signage of aerial speed checks yet! There were 3 landing strips though .. Next leg it to port Augusta tomorrow

Sorry if this has been covered but I'm on a tiny phone and navigating around is hard Anyway - my friend has a BA 5 speed but has been told he will need to change his driveshaft and clutch if to convert to a 6.. Is this true? I'm not mechanical minded so would appreciate the expertise of you guys Dave

Hey guys, anyone know if there are aerial speed checks along the nullarbor? Ive been told by people there were many years ago. Ive also read they have them in NSW, but what about the nullarbor? Im not looking to break any land speed records but Id like to not worry sitting on 130 for the journey. Any one know? Cheers Dave

Good luck mate, I have the same problem. There is quite a bit on here about it so do a few searches, you will find many different theories! but not many answers. Bushes seems likely, but it could be other things. Let us know if you figure it out!

Gday, Im driving from perth to adelaide shortly in my 330rwkw f6, im not sure what fuel will be available at the servo's on the way.. will I be fine? I know im meant to use 98 octane but I assume that these stations wont have that. I was thinking of taking a few jerry cans and adding 20 litres of 98octane each time I fill up (presuming they only have 91 or 95octane.. or is that a stupid idea? Cheers!

Yeah good point! I researched stone chip removal ect and it does seem a cheaper way Just have to make sure I don't hit a kangaroo ..

Hey guys, in roughly 4 weeks I'll be driving from Perth across to the eastern states, Anyone have any tips? And who has done the trip the quickest? Also, anyone have a FG car bra or something similar I could rent off them for a short period? Cheers!

Very happy to announce my FG F6 Ute now has 335rwkw thanks to Simon and Xtreme fords Mods - Tune, cat, Injectors and valve springs I already have the turbo side intake, just waiting for my nizpro cooler and I'll be happy, I have to take it easy and my stock cooler doesn't have enough guts to keep up according to SImon Overall I'm very happy Car has been lowered too, looks great

Is the bolt up' more then just the cat ? does that include pipe either side of the cat, just buying the cat was cheaper if I remember correctly
