Had some "SPLATT" alloys done years ago by Carrolls Chroming in Brunswick ( VIC) & they were great....But spent hrs each week or so keeping em that way! I think Nowadays there'd have to be some sort of protective coating to minimise this?? The XR18s ARE a really good looking wheel..& I think Polished OR "shadow chromed" would look magic?

If you mount the sitcker high on the screen where more folks can see it, rather than over the rear stop light in the parcel shelf, I believe the gain is closer to 15RWKW..... :lol: :lol: Ummm, What's the ruling on having a Ford XR6 Turbo sticker on a BA Pursuit? Is there a Kw increase OR decrease , being NON turbo?

OK, so Ford , I believe have new colours coming?.. Put a series 11 badge on the turbo ( in the new green colour) & It'd STILL sh*t in!!

Mondie... give it a week or so, & you'll get a 1st hand indication!( when IT finally arrives!).... One thing to consider is putting yourself in the luxury car tax bracket!... A GT with a few "Goodies" will be 70 odd on road!... say 46...47 for the "T" ? Hmmm

And , Apparently, has HEAPS to do with the colour!... Red ones are higher Kw's....All the way down to the white ones... Which are the lowest!... Now , every 3rd red one, is..........

October ( I think?) last year, Falcon got car of the year ..& the XR6T got best sports under $60,000.... October is NOT that far away again!..Unless the opposition comes up with something really special, (which I doubt in the time available?).. What's to say Ford can't pull both awards off again?... Call me biased, but what current Holden, Mitsubishi, Or ANY other make is gunna come close to the XR6T ?? AND has it happened before?..( same car winning 2 years running)

Had an interesting conversation tonight with a guy that swears nitrogen is the go for inflating tyres!.. apparently heat generation & moisture content compared with compressed air is just so much better!.. He reckons handling And especially, tyre wear is vastly improved, running nitrogen?.. This rang a bell?.. I remember one of our members that bought his XRt from Westpoint ( think it was a black T6) specifies nitrogen only in his tyres... Anyone got a clue on this?

So are you saying that all hardtops are fitted at the dealer? :blank: ... Even the Pursuit?.. I have noticed that they still have the cord bracket holes, but have colour coded plastic plugs in them..

Remember, we used to be able to go to Vic roads & punch No. plate options into a panel of 'puters that were for gen public & they'd tell you if they were taken?... Nowdays you have to ask in person... It's a pain!....Anyhow to answer your Q. how 'bout "MYXR6T"? or "MY240T",.. I reckon all the goodies would be taken?... Saw "FPRXR6", the other nite! Wonder if FPVXR6 is gone?

Ford forums... Only wish I'd known about this site BEFORE I bought my XR6T!... No way would I have purchased from the "northern Melb dealer", as I did!.... After chatting to Chris & informing him , that I was also after a ute ( at that stage, XR8)..He directed me to Westpoint & Wally... Who, BTW, talked me into a Pursuit ( didn't take much convincing!), and the rest is history!... Even though Pursuit is STILL coming, I have been extremely impressed with Westpoint... Thanks Chris, And also to all the XR6 Turbo.com members!!.. BTW, This site should have a warning regarding it's "addictive nature"!!!!

Just spied... Brand spanking Blood orange Turbo ute ... In Autocares holding yard ( Laverton Nth).. This yard is where they transport the interstate cars from.. Maybe it is bound for one of our members?.. couldn't make out the SIDO on the window... (Pic taken through chain mesh fence with HUGE german shepard going nuts on other side of fence!!).... Imagine this with Really dark tint!....

Saw a Blood Orange XR6Turbo sedan in Carlton last night...The VERY first I've seen in the flesh on the road.... This colour will break necks!! ... It is.. simply stunning!! ... A top choice "00 Lowndes"... ( & thanks for the chat!)... & how about a few pics?
