The "Split" 18's are the GT & Pursuit wheels... The 7 spokers are GTP only, & have been on the Blood orange Pursuit that was last seen at Bathurst nats, for , I'm told "to promote the pursuit"....I asked & was told .."yes, if you want em" ....But $$$$...... Me thinks I am paying enuf without forking out MORE for same wheel size, tyre size, But different rim design?... I mean would it cost Ford anymore?

The pic I took of the citric acid GT at Autocare in Nth Laverton does seem surrounded in Holdens!!...However this yard does hold & deliver all makes, This is where all the Finnemore car transporters load to go interstate.

Yes strange about the wheels?.....I do hope they revert to the original "split" design, though,( I have a Pursuit on order )& I think regardless of liking or not, they do put a GT type of signature on the car rather then 18" XR8's?.. Also , after seeing so many pics of the Acid with stripes on the net & not being a fan...I was really surprised just how impressive the car looks in the flesh!!...It looks awesome!!

Just came from Geelong Ford day...Some nice cars there.. Only 1 GT, though!( again, acid rush & stripes!)...& came across a XR8 ute in Venum. That looked great!

Just an absolute buzz to get into!!......And Yes, the people who stare, comment, ( drool) ...And NOT just ford people!!......This car attracts attention like no other!....People stopped beside you at the lights want to know "What's it like" , "How fast do they go"... I have never seen this amount of attention directed at an Australian made car, since the days of "hey Charger" !!( if anyone remembers them?),...Ford have not just built a great car,.......They have created a "LEGEND" !!

Where was that pic taken??....It looks the same ute as at Bathurst nats? ( GTP wheels & no mesh infill in front bar)...But not same surroundings as Bathurst.

Had a Call from Westpoint this morning & story is that Blood Orange has been delayed!!All Jan & Feb ordered Bl/Oran. vehicles now MID MARCH!! ( sobbing quietly!)... By Those pics , I Think WILL be worth the wait?

Oh Ok, Sounds great! I'll be there!.....Think I WILL bring the ute & possibly get a buyer?....It's getting closer to delivery of the Pursuit & I really must find a "home" for my baby!!

I've found virtually no noticable difference between PULp & ULP! ( except, naturally price!) However, every 3 fills or so I do use PULP..Especially when it's down in price.... Around town I can't notice any difference But on the Highway , the consumption does improve markedly with Premium!..Also, found the Mobil Or optimax the best as they are genuine 98 oct.

Wonder if it was a Ford vehicle with those plates?...Could it have been heading to their proving grounds , Via the "marsh" ?

I've got a far more serious problem?...My wife is the one with the XR6T..... & I have to either steal the keys while she's asleep OR wait til it needs refueling to get a drive!!... But Soon, SOON the boot will be on the OTHER foot!!.... ( when my Pursuit arrives!)

Hey Bear, How do you know if 5th is "tall" if you've never had a 5th gear?..& XR8 is only .05 different to the turbo box anyhow ( in 5th.I think .68 compared with .73).... But who cares,,,, shunt fixed ........5 usable gears , turbo, AND A FORD badge..........Mate.........This is living!!!

So ......You'd be hanging??...Promise you "Richdave"......It WILL be worth the wait!!...& Blueprint?......Saw a Blueprint XR6T ute at westpoint last thursday And , Honestly........Absolutely gorgeous!!.. I have ordered Blood Orange in my pursuit ( sight unseen!) But tell ya what ......Blueprint would have to be right up there!!

I Do know about the GT at westpoint ( I have a Pursuit on order there, also) ...This is FORD...Not your dealer... ( Believe me , apart from personally ambushing ( and holding to ransom)"Polites,or his offsider David Flint", There is just NO answer to this??...I HAVE tried all avenues!!... I suppose all us cashed up "get in the line" Ford lovers have to be patient, trust our stock controler,( Hoping that he reads this, lol)? And just bloody wait?...Seriously though.........I'm damn sure that I'd prefer to be waiting for an XR turbo, or a GT , Or a Pursuit, than a frigging ugly, outdated,pushrod 60's engined, oil burning, tortise of a car like a VX commodore!!

Lets show these NSW guys , just who rules supreme in the XR turbo stakes?....
