Nothing crazy. Just thought while the turbo is out if there was something simple/cheapish to do I would do it. Just running 98 with a 255l pump.

Hi guys, any recommendations to changes on a stock turbo besides the actuator and porting? What's the best bang for buck?

Tomorrow I'll upload them. Took alot a pics when doing the oil line. I might do a "how to" as then one here is missing the pictures. Question 1. I noticed the fg intercooler has the same outlets as the plazmaman (facing down). Has anyone tried putting the fg cooler in a bf? ATM I have a wog cooler which is a direct replacememt would I get any benifet using the fg one besides the pipe locations? Question 2. Has anyone found a cheap place to get the aluminium piping (for intake)? Went to supercheap and they are about $25 a peice. Went to autobarn and they were about $45 a piece. Saw on eBay you can get a "mix" pack for $160 But it does not say how think the material is. Question 3. Does anyone know where to get cheap aluminium plate off cuts? (Melbourne) Last one. Anyone got a tig welder they want to sell? I tried changing the tip and gas on my mig but it's just not the same. Thanks everyone.

Sorry guys, been busy with work. Yesterday got a lot done. While doing an oil change a decided to change the turbo oil line. Then cleaned the throttle body then installed my battery relocation kit I made. I can't upload pictures here as I have gone over limit. I'll try using that photobucket thing. Next is the piping!

I haven't done anything yet. All I have done is made the relocation kit and the box for where the battery is. Before I do anything I want to ask "what's next". I noticed on the cast aluminum pipe there is a sensor or something?

I have just made a battery relocation kit and also a box for the pod filter to fit where the battery was. My question is I have an upgraded intercooler but it's still the original "shape" just larger. Can I install the pod filter box or do I have to change the Intercooler to the one that has the inlet and outlet at the bottom? Any photos of my setup would be great

Hey guys, This is a little off topic but wanted to get yours opinion. I’ve got 2 xr6 turbos at home. My daily driver which is a BF MkII running 310rwks. The other one is my BA 03 manual xr6 turbo. This one needs a bit of work. ALL rubbers + center bush, roof liner, driveshaft bearing, paint (clear coat gone), headlights (all foggy), ABS (light has come on), typical leak from power steering hose and a leak from the oil return from the turbo to sump which happened when I had the turbo replaced and they over tightened the bolts on the sump. The car has 270rwks. It has the turbo flapper done, 12PSI actuator, 42PSI injectors, 200CPSI cat plus a tune done by Pit Lane Performance. I’m tossing up what to do. Should I just sell it for $3,500 or maybe start a youtube channel and look at doing some work to it? Maybe look at doing something crazy like a twincharger which I don't think has been done before. Do a gearbox swap out to a 6-speed manual and do all the repairs to the car so everyone can see how or how not to do them. The Youtube channel would be based on your thoughts your ideas and would be guided by your comments on each video. I'm not a mechanic but I know which way to hold a screwdriver and hammer. There will be mistakes but that's all part of learning. Would the car start first time if I installed a twincharger? probably not. That's where your comments and knowledge would come in handy. The last one (orange) is the bf anniversary model I think.

The BF has a different front bumper. There are fins near the spot lights. The interior inserts are grey not black. it will have 18" rims.

I had a BF Turbo go past me today and it had a really nice crackle as it slowed down. What was done to the exhaust to achieve the crackle?

304rwkw with a 5 speed. Hmmmm. Not sure how long that will last. Add to your list the 6 speed box.

Big thanks for your reply. Already got a tune and an xcal. I have already installed 42lbs injectors, 200cpsi cat, deleted center muffler, 255l pump and a bigger cooler. Now looking to delete all the plumbing. I'll check out the tech section, but of anyone has a second hand unit I'll be interested. Thanks again,

Thanks for the replies. It seems to do it in the mornings when it's cold. I drive it very easy but I still get the errors. is it the sensor before or after the cat? Thanks again.

Injectors Cat Waldron 250l pump Centre muffler deleted Intercooler

Hi guys, Recently I have been getting Fault Code:[P0172] System too Rich(Bank 1). Any ideas what causes it? If I clear it I may not see it for over a week then it will come back in the morning on my way to work. The car seems to run fine. Thanks,
