I think ? the front springs are yellow ssl , the backs were a black spring, maybe not king springs? because the first time they tried it wasnt low enough, ill see if I can see any part number on it when I get it out of the shed, im starting to think it may be a little too low almost, I was under the impression the ssl and sssl would leave about a fingers gap around the top of the tyre?

  3. yeah I seen them doing the allignment, didnt take very long though, maybe because it was the 2nd or 3rd time they had already done it haha? here a photo how it sits now!
  4. Nope never got a print out :/ They did have a few hassles doing it, they installed the wrong springs all round by mistake! And it didnt lower it harldy at all, this was at lunchtime , so almosy time to knock off, then then had to redo it all, then the rears still wernt right So by the end of if they were all working on my car, maybe they were in a hurry to get out of there? I dont blame them I felt sorry for the poor guys! I will up load a few photos for u in a minute! Is this camber kit or wateva pricey? $$$
  5. Yeah they did, but I have no idea about correct specs? Shouldnt they not let it go if it wasnt? Is it bad for the car/tyres etc?
  6. Hey fellas Had my car lowered at penrith wholesale suspension yesterday, car looks good an great service from the guys down there, deffinently recomend them to anyone! I dont no much about the whole suspendion and wheel allignment side of thins, car is on ssl fromt and sssl rear, I have noticed that im not sure what its called? Camber, toe? Anyway when u look at car from the front the wheels are on a rather decent lean the top is tucked in and the bottoms are sticking out a little! Is this normal from lowering the car? Do I need to buy/ fit anything else to fix the problem? Cheers guys

    Go to your local bolt shop and buy some stainless steal bolts and replace them Will cost under $10 and will look fancy too!
  8. Im in the same boat, I have an fg not series 2 though And I get it aswell Have been told ny the dealer everything is fine :/ Though it doesnt sound right to me
  9. that's very Good to hear, as at first I was fairly concerned of it! Im getting ssl and sssl in this week hopefully, so ill get them to tighten and check what they can while in there
  10. That makes me feel a little but better! But the clunk in the rear is peeing me right of Feels like its got a solid rod in there for a shock

  12. Had the dealer look over it and they said they heard the noise and it was a sway bar, turns out it does it wven louder after whatever they have done to it! I live 3 hours from the dealer I bought the car ao just taking it back and complaining isnt realy an option :/ Guess its somthing ill have to live with hey

  15. Its auto :/ Its realy bugging me cause it doesnt sound like it should be there , I think the belt tensioner may have a bung bearing donu think that could cause it?
  16. Had my fg for about a month and a half now, I lately noticed a rather weird clinking sound everytime I take off in the car, it doesnt matter if I go fast or slow or anything inbetween? It only happens when the car is off then after I start and warm car then leave it does it, after u have the car running and say stop at lights and take off it doesnt do it? But if I turn car of at all then drive again it makes the noise, sounds like coming from engine bay area! Anyone else had this or know how to fix it?
  17. Ill just got rensonable tight I think, its better then loose on most things anyway haha Yeah , how the hell do u afford an fg being a uni student? Hard enough for me working 40+ hours a week! Ill be leaving the engine stock just for a while ad it does go pretty damn hard! Ill get her looking how I want her first Where you from bellato?

Thanks bellato I will jack her up an go for it, I realy like the silver and once I get the widows tinted and lowered it on ssl and possible sssl rears , an last but not least ill proby change to the g6e rear boot lip, I think it looks clean , though I dont mind the xr either that's all ill do to the appearance I think Then come the engine mods I get alot of weird looks driving the car as im inly 20 haha

  20. Never realy post on here just read mostly but thort I may aswell post my new money pit on the forum! Recently sold my ba xr6 ute and purchased an 09 fg xr6t sedan and wow what an upgrade , great car although am currently havin a few issues with some strange noises coming from front of engine faily sure its the idler pulley or belt tensioner though, also a weird clunk when hitting bumps coming from the right rear. Also it seems as if the turbo winding/spooling wisle has gotten alot louder over the last few weeks I hope this isnt a bad sign? Any ideas ? It is possible me just being paranoid because of a new car though haha Other then that its great Has premium sound, lesther, reverse camera, headrest monitors all factory etc etc 6speed zf and 85xxxx kms
  21. Hi guys I just purchased a 09 fg xr6 trubo sedan with the zf auto! Awsome car compared to my old ba xr6 ute but anyway! What I want to know is what will get me to 300 rwkw? I was hoping to get the 300kw or atleast 280kw by 60lb dekkas, 100cpi cat and a custom tune! Is that at all possible you think? If I could get the 280 id be more then happy If not what elae to I need, ino I could get an itake etc etc which I will in the long run but yeah im just after abit more power without spending the world at the moment!

    ^^ Also keen to know I just got am fg t myself and want to get it tuned stock just for now! Maybe injectors aswell but what sort of power do you guys reakon with just a stock tune?
  23. im just going for a cheap option at the moment which is why I wanted to go the 80 buk blocks, do you think 2" will work? or stick to 1.5?
  24. ive got a ba xr6 ute and want to lower it, going to put king ssl in the front and im not sure what do go for the rear, will 2 inch lowering blocks fit? I have 19" hp design rims or is 1.5" as big as I could go you think? cheers
