Mate if you really want to put brembos on your car just call Race Brakes Sydney and buy a brand new set of 6pot fronts and 4 pot rears, trust me it works out alot easier and prolly cheaper than trying to dodge it up with custom brackets etc. that way you know exactly what you have, get the discs to go with it and they are a reputable company, I got mine from there with the DBA T3 and they are awesome!

  3. chasing atleast 400rwkw for now and then a bit later down the track will prolly go for a bit more on a built motor

  5. Hmm okay maybe the Stage 3 comes with the piping too then! Im just trying to work out cause there is no point having a cooler sitting around which could make some one else happy for alot cheaper!

G'day guys, just after a few opinions what would you say a second hand process west stage 2 intercooler would be worth as I have one on my car which has been on there for about 6 months and I'm about to hit the next round of mods and now I need the stage 3 so I'll be selling my one now! It won't come with any piping kits! Thanks

  8. Alright thanks for your help! im hoping to achive around 400rwkw maybe a bit more, I know the tail shaft will have to be done and the ZF will need doing eventually though!

  10. G'day all! I know it us prolly been asked a few times but I have no idea how to use the search on my phone! I have a 2009 Fg xr6 turbo, it has a few mods such as process west stage 2 intercooler, 1000id injectors, full 4inch stainless xforce exhaust, process west surge tank, tune and zf tune and I'm sort of over it now! So iv been looking at taking the next step, would I better off getting a precision turbo if so what size or just stick with a f6 turbo, I will also be getting valve springs and turbo side intake done at the same time. I use Rob Harvey at monsta torque in Perth, any help would be greatful! Thanks Jacob
  11. Iv got the 4000 T3 with the standard Brembo pads and they work fantastic! Call race brakes sydney and he will tell you everything there is to know and he is very cheap!

  13. Okay so turns out the ones I brought are off a BA-BF (6 pots) so the brackets are the same, do I just switch the brackets around or do I have to change the cross over pipe as well? It seems to be a long time since anyone posted on this! Apparently I have brought some brembos off a BA-BF thinking they were off a FG GT-P and im trying to put them onto a FG sedan, do I just swap the mounting brackets around? or do I have to change the cross over pipes? I already have the brake hoses. hmmm ill have to give it a shot tomorrow morning! Fingers crossed it works! I suppose the brake hoses will be off a BA-BF too then
  14. ill go see if the piston has been pushed back fully now but I wont be able to test fit until atlest tomorrow arvo when I get access to a hoist. ill have to try and change the brackets, so I pretty much swap the left to the right? how do you like them??? pull up okay? lol Thanks heaps for your help, without this id be screwed!!
  15. Righto then, but when they were bolted on they seemed to press up against the inside of the disk.... I always thought the bleed nipples sit at the top? Yes some pictures would be handy. And im down in Rockingham (Perth) if that's not too far away?

Ok then that's slightly annoying considering they were suppose to be off a FG GT-P ill try and reverse the mounts tonight but the bolts lined up but where the struts are machined out they didn't fit on and the rears were off centre and the calliper pressed up against the disk when it was tightened! Im running out of posts today! I have 4 left and id really like to get this sorted tonight as I fly away to work in the next few days for 2 months!

  18. Yeah mate apparently they came off a fg gt-p. it seems te factory mounts don't fit the wishbone I'll put a picture up in a min
  19. Hello all, I'm trying to for a set of 6pot brembos to the front of a fg xr6 turbo and the brackets don't seem to fit has anyone else had problems with this???
  20. Just a quick question, when replacing the pads in the 6 pot brembos do you just have to knock the two retainer pins out?
  21. iv managed to get approx 270 ish and still felt like it had more to go but to be honest I was too busy looking out the front not looking down at the gauges. The standard brakes didnt like it the slightest!

  23. Gday guys got a few questions hopfully some of you may be able to help me. First of all I have a 2009 XR6 Turbo and I am planning on putting 6 pot brembos on the front and 4 pot on the rears, I assume these just bolt straight on with the correct mounting brackets? or do I have to do some mods to such as the Master cylinder etc?   25. Gday, Im looking at rebuilding the Bottom end of my 2009 FG xr6t, what sort of products are on the market to do this and what gear should I keep away from? currently im just running Process west stage 2 cooler, I.D1000 injectors, Surge tank, 4inch stainless exhaust, and ZF tune, but im wanting to go a lot futher such as turbo, rebuilt gear box etc. Cheers
