Guys I had taken out spark plugs today only to find the ceramic with a film of orange powder.Is this because of fuel?Or wrong plug?Any suugestion are welcomed

Hi mate....drop the fuse case at your right knee.Check the fuses...check the aftermarket fuses that look non stock in the area.If its a 30 amp fuse DONT REPLACE IT.....if you do you could be looking for a possible fire.Take it back to ford and they can get whoever installed it to check for a dead short or intermittent short...at the end of the day 30 amp fuse is a big sucker.

Hi, do yourself a favour and in addition to the existing earth terminal solder a second wire from the same strand and screw/bolt it to the body....This will give a etter earth. And as you guys are saying this has happened on a virtually new car ...it is bound to happen again ..Geee they havent replied to me about my advertising request here I wonder if I should be sharing my 13 years of knowledge?????

Hi everyone hope you are well!!Its amazing the differences between brands of spark plugs with relation to fuel consumption and power!!!!Ive been experimenting for years ...firstly my old eb falcon...Ngk plugs got me 380 km on a tank of fuel (averaged over a month)Champion plugs got me 400 ks to a tank.Bosch spark got me 470 km on a tank of fuel.Now with my au falcon I am still experimenting.Ihave used standard ford and got 430 km on a tank of fuel.Using champion plugs for 3 weeks now and getting 380 km on a tank.(im ready to return them to repco) So what do you guys think are the best for the au falcon ?Indeed has any fiddled with different plugs with the new BA xr6t???What results did you get.Why can their be so much difference between dam spark plugs /power and fuel consumption???Anyone??

I have to agree with plonky ,if they do put a limit on power then ford would be more inclined to fatten up the torque figures with better engineering and testing.Horsepower is great to talk about ,but torque is what accelerates the car.....

I just looked at the territory on the net.....It looks like mums taxi...hehehhe....A sporty xr6t wagon would be much nicer:}If we wanted to go to that extreme of car Ill be looking at a tarago .... But its ok...the standard wagon can be made to go alot harder as is.With 4 valves per cylinder and bigger cold air intake it wont be hard to trick it up while still looking legal. If ford wont the aftermarket will.That is why cars get" done up"....they dont give us what we want..Funny thing though ...I remember when I was looking for a station wagon earlier this year that all the dealers I spoke to were saying that the station wagons were being held longer than any other type of car due to their durability & practicality....Time and time again this was said.

Just food for thought guys..My brother in law has just built an ac cobra with a Nissan gtr rear end and hes spent like $90000 doing it.I dont think I am out of line to make this suggestion ,but as always each individual is entitled to there opinion.His cobra is extremely quick...if your gonna do it right ....do it right...not *beep* foot around with differentials like the borg warners which I have laid to rest in the diff graveyard.... :lol:
