  1. maybe its lubricating more and causing less resistance between parts? not sure just a thought. I'll be changing over to Nulon this week and see how I go
  2. hey Rudiger, I PM'd you my number
  3. well I think we are going through the Geelong bypass so maybe join at Waurn Ponds? You should be able to park outside the BP and see us coming off the freeway, that many Fords you cant miss us
  4. ha love the avatar pics... I actually had to look like 3 times to work out what the hell is going on I thought Dillz was posting and responding to himself All you guys need now is Tab to join in. But on topic they are by far my favorite non FPV Ford wheels, in fact if anyone is selling a set im looking for some
  5. just PM your number to Rudiger mate, he'll look after it
  6. date hasnt changed mate, its this Sunday... well I hope it is
  7. make sure you ask for the latest firmware to the ICC and ECU every time you go in as well! They did a firmware update on mine at 3,000km and my fuel economy went down to 10.9 and the car pulled so much harder! plus every time they do an update to the ICC it gets rid of all the little bugs, occasionally the screen would white wash and reset and I would see the little man walk across the screen again, after firmware update this was fixed
  8. who can honestly come up with that stuff at 6AM... not even god is awake yet, but hilarious none the less
  9. great answer
  10. hit the monster of all pot holes, bent a rim, cracked the other and chewed out 2 tyres. I figure my excess is $550 and im rating one for life or the $1575 cash bill for the repairs. You would think its an easy choice until you deal with RACV, 2 weeks until an assessor comes to see the car, 2 weeks since he approved it and no word from RACV, just rang them actually and they said they were waiting for me to contact them Go figure, they never told me that
  11. actually if the money from RACV doesnt come this week I may actually have to miss this cruise! that or come in drag spec with the stockies on the back
  12. the 18th I'll be cruising the roads of Tassie, but dont change on my account... there will always be more opportunities
  13. Rudiger just confirming that Jamie will NOT be at lunch, she will cruise that way with us but peel off with her friend once we hit the Great Ocean Road
  14. really depends on each dealer I think, I've had a fair few issues with my car but have always been impressed with the way Etheridge Ford have dealt with it, on that note some dealers are absolute tossers and I wouldnt give them the time of day (Knox Ford)... theres a few names for ya but your luck sounds terrible mate, not good business practice by the respective service departments at all!
  15. a lot of people go for the Kings SL and SSL, but I think on the FG's people are preferring the SSL front and SSSL rear
  16. sounds like pressure built up and the pressure seal on the cap went off. I know coolant was coming from the bottom of the overflow but was it flowing from the seal in the cap on top and draining through the whole in the middle? or actually coming from one of the connected pipes?
  17. starting to see more and more FG coppers around but mainly undercover ones. from seeing some of the other threads on here FG's are quite popular in NSW and QLD. More class up there maybe Coppers here in VIC drive crappodores so when they pull over all the tossers the drivers dont give so much cheek cause they love the cop car
  18. I think shes planning to come with us half the way with a friend then peel off at some point on the Great Ocean road and do sh*t there, not sure yet but will keep you posted.
  19. not sure about different globes available, I used LED's but im sure you can get halogens etc, its only a standard H11 socket. cost was around $26, just check the ebay link I gave, all pricing is in there. To fit is pretty simple, undo the stone tray on the corners, flex back a bit, stick your hand in there and feel the socket then turn counter clockwise to undo then pull the socket down so you can see it, change globe and then feel it back into place. Doing it this way took me about 10 mins total! Its the easiest way without getting the car on jack stands, or pulling the wheels off and the guard protectors or pulling the front bar off. oh Rudiger the car got detailed today so is looking very nice! wont be taking any photos until I have my proper wheels on the back
  20. this really sucks man, I know a few people from work would want in, but I'd want an all Ford day otherwise I would just go to the Calder open practice. If the dollar value was around $300 you would only need around 26 cars, now that's a gettable figure. The problem with the calder park open practice is you need a full race suite, who has those lying around
  21. that's the exact reason I debadged my car, I was sick of Expensive Daewoo dicks riding my ass or almost causing an accident so he can get to the front at the lights and line me up. 99% of the time I just laugh and take off like a grandma, but every once in a while they would piss me off to the point where I would have to embarrass them in front of their very lucky lady
  22. what about somewhere like Haunted Hills in Moe? I fdoubt you would get the numbers for Winton
  23. OEM Sat Nav doesnt have free upgraded maps for ever either, not too sure what Ford charge for map updates
  24. it gets down to around 2 degrees c in there, works quite well with no condensation problems yet
