Have a turbo ute now, the car I had when I was active here met its demise that involved a kangaroo and a power pole. Stopped participating in car stuff when a good friend and active member here passed away (not car related). Thought I'd jump on again and have a look.

was there by any chance any new news on the Sat Nav map updates? I know behind it all is iGo and the MKII doesn't have an SD card, you have to update VIA the USB port in the center console. I have downloaded the maps off the car to USB, but am currently struggling to get any new updated map files back on the car.

thanks for the offer mate, I can squeeze in the fuel and accommodation. I can't squeeze in the 4 new tyres, wheel alignment and service the car needs. The girlfriends car is being sold and was supposed to go this week, the guy was being a total wanker so I told him to get stuffed, unfortunately all my current money went into stuff for that car and I was going to get it back when it sold. PS it might sound a little gay

The 2 best twisties I've eve been through are the ones to the north/east of the island and through cradle mountain, We got near cradle mountain towards the night and were planning the climb to the peak the next day so we stayed somewhere close (Mole Creek) the trek from the main road to Mole Creek and back was insane

Hey Gary I'll PM you but def stay away from the Great Lakes in the middle, dirt roads and treacherous as all hell (you know how I drive through twisties so you can only imagine what I mean)

I quite like the front, I wonder if the projector headlights will be a drop in replacement for the current FG. not keen on the ICC, it looks like some ricer has gone to work with a fiberglass kit to fit that screen in, the dials look alright though.
