Ok sweet as I was always under the impresion that it's bad for the tubo to spike thaw why I thought it was a major issue as I basically know bugger all about turbos. What the psi narmally on az mine in 1st gear it's 2.5 and from 2 gear onwards is 5 I thought thy having an x chaser that it would of had a slight more than stock or do they return them to stock when sold? I have figured out the wiring after having a dummy spit and a few beers lol

I'm frustrated now I have got the boost gauge light working and now the water temp light don't work hmmm I have done as stated and went through the ciggy lighter but now not working the hose for the boost isn't kinked and still spikes with gear change and the temp gauge doesn't work it doesn't show how hot she runs I gave up could anyone give us a hand if they live locally

Installed mine yesterday I have an after market cd player which I tapped into for the ignition 12v battery and earth then I tapped into the fog light for the lights only prob now is that the cd player don't work :( and a fog light is out but I'll try and figure out what's wrong when I get home from work this arvo. After installing my boost gauge I found that I'm not hitting 5 pound boost it's around 2.5 - 3 pound boost is that norm and when I change gears it's spikes don't know if it is because it's a vacuum & boost or not

So in otherwords I'll have to take it to the tuner with the boost control how much do they usually charge for the tune

hey all im planning on putting a duel stage boost controller onto my stock bf 6t I know they run std at about 6psi whats the max psi that they can safely handle with more boost id like to have around 10 - 12psi but could the stock motor handle the extra power.

This may not b it but when my stock 6t was running rich it ended up being the sensor on the back of the motor so ford replaced it and it's running ten times better

Would that be the code to enter so u can tune the ecu for eg: increase air intake and so on or would that be a different code cause mine is asking for a flash code :(

Hey all the cams are installed and everything is put back together but we have a slight little problem the car starts but then stalls in about 10 seconds or it will run if you idle it with the excelerator at about 1000 rpm's what's the best way to figure out the problem in why it keeps stalling could it b because it still has the factory settings cpu and could a propped tune fix this or could it b something else

I had the same problem I was averaging 20.4L/100 I changed the sensor on the back of the motor and now its averaging 10.8 but when I picked my car up 2 days after the copas finished with it it was reading 45.8/100 and when I filled up it only gave me 129 k's of fuel LOL

After everything is done we will be taking it to a dyno to do the fine tuning. I'll let u guys know what he got out of it

The cams and springs are in place just need to put the brackets in and a new timing chain in. Are v6 cam installation similar to the i6 as I know someone who has installed plenty of v6 cams

hey guys a mate of mine has a ba xr6 n/a he had an argument with the mechanic so all he has done is installed the valve springs. Are the cams easy to install? (with basic mechanical knowledge)and if so does antone have photos or a write up on how to install these. and is there a certain way to put them in eg: like the old dizzy's. the cams he has are not crow cams its from a company from WA which they say there is no stages but will increase power ?????? cheers in advance

Roughly where would it leaking I tightened the air intake clamps could it be towards the dump pipe? Or could it be the turbo itself that needs to be tightened

hmmmm I might be having this same prob (or not) mine has the same noise but only when the turbo is hot and at revs from 4000 - 6000 rpm but my bov sound normal as it is stock. I took it to ford and they recon that it is normal I have had a look at the comp wheel but it seems fine could it be anything else??????

about a month ago I almost got done by detectives for fishtailing he gave me a warning and a third degree about the new hoon laws and said luckily u didnt get done by a marked car otherways your car would b crushed for a first offence ?????

I think the reason why they put the stability control on is simply due to ppl who are inexperienced in driving with a LSD diff I am a culprate to it I used to own an el with a single spinner but when I took my car on the track with stability control off it feigtened the crap out of me untill I got used to driving with an LSD diff it

it is an ssb european battery and the CCA is 450 checked it with the volt meter when I started it it dropped down to 200 but the alternator was charging at 12v. yes I did have the optima battery with 4 terminals I dont have a reciept as it went through the wash (missus not checking the pockets) ill b buying a new 1 this week from nrma hehe dont have to worry when I loose the reciept

I think the worst thing I did was buying 1 that doesnt have the holes to fill them up with cheers for the reply I might just buy a new 1
