  1. Need to get you out of the mud do some real offroading Jamie. Venture into Beerburrum and find hills that cause this:
  2. Get it dyno'ed and you can kill 3 birds with one stone 1. Makes sure your 02 sensor isn't faulty 2. Improves your fuel economy 3. Increases the pleasure of driving your car
  3. For the windows, get a Meguiar's Glass Cloth, they are brilliant. When you wash the car, don't use a sponge, get a fibre mitt and use two buckets. One with suds and the other with just water. After you have washed the car with suds, rinse your mitt out with the plain water bucket before putting it back in the suds bucket, this will keep your suds cleaner and won't transfer the dirt back onto your car after you have washed it. Doing this will reduce the amount of swirls that form in the car's paint work After you have dried it, amoral the plastic bits and put tyre shine on her shoes and go for a drive. The best way I have found to avoid the streaks on my car is to chamios it, go for a drive to make sure all the water is out of the crevices and amoral and tyre shine has flicked everywhere it's gonna, then use a quick detailer with a micro fibre cloth to finish off the job. Enjoy looking after your new baby edit: and as robbo says, a nice coat of wax will keep it cleaner longer
  4. PM senna_T I believe he has a kit available
  5. the 4sp auto isn't much stronger then the t5, but it can be modified to make it stronger. Simple flash tune to 10psi would most likely see ~ 600nm of torque...maybe more depending on the tune
  6. Give Mal Wood a call mate, they will know what is required, but it will prob be cheaper to convert to T56
  7. Maybe the OP was referring to n/a barra?? I would say nos would be necessary if that's the case.
  8. Cheers for a good cruise Matt, had a great time, even the trip through the banana farms was worthwhile. Sorry guys, I didn't take my camera with me, so no photos Catch up next time. Cheers, Ben
  9. You would probably need the whole wiring harness from the donor car including all sensors. You may need to have the car programmed so it knows they are there as well.
  10. Can't you get an overdrive for the C4 to fix that issue?
  11. Did they re-balance the tyres as well? Wheel alignment won't cause shuddering. Could be: Missing weights on a front wheel Build up of crap inside a wheel Bulge in a tyre Flat spot on a tyre Loose wheel, or not tightened in a circular motion or really really worn hub bearings, but you would have a pretty bad noise as well if this was the case.
  12. Nice car mate, what did you upgrade from?
  13. Yeah, in the cabin where you can get to it quickly is the best option. You can fit one fairly inconspicuously under either the drivers or passengers seat as wiener says. Problem with mounting it in the boot is if the fire is caused by an electrical fault and you have no electricity, you can't get into the boot cos you can't operated the solenoid to pop it. However, if you are adamant about putting it in the boot, then under the parcel shelf, or on the back of the seats would probably be the ideal place, cos that way you can at least access it through the back seat if you have a boot load of crap. Cheers, Ben
  14. Shoot them a PM mate, but how do you expect to fit it without the piping to suit?
  15. Might need to get your antenna looked at mate. Where I am, I had to put a mask head amplifier on to stop the beeps and squawks on SBS.
  16. They don't have a filament, so they don't blow in the conventional way, instead they "burn-out" but that happens at around 5000 hours of use.
  17. Well, he's either off sulking cos it did, or having too much fun with the extra ponies
  18. Lowering the car makes the suspension stiffer which will create more vibrations through the car, and it's vibrations that kill the globes. Maybe think about fitting a HID kit, this will get rid of the tungsten filament that is in halogen globes. Other then that, make sure you are fitting the globes securely in the headlight to try to reduce the vibrations. Cheers, Ben
  19. I have the font, but it's not every letter of the alphabet, just gives XR6, XR8, SR and a few other logos. The details of what the font does is attached. Ford_font_help_Page.pdf

We have managed to get free camping out the back of Shane Webke's pub at Leyburn. Full details are int eh events link on our website. Cheers, Ben
