Ford will probably void your waranty if they found you were using it. Maybe ask a friendly dealer.

18's with Dunlops Bob Jane advised me that in QLD, Dunlop recommend tyre pressures to be 32. He also advised it was different for other states. I had previously been running 40 in all and switching back to 32 made the car feel like I have since got another opinion from a different dealer who suggested 38. I have gone back to 40 in each now, rightly or wrongly.

I have only used Bryan Byrt at Mansfield as they have a night service dept. and they have been V/G with both my previous AU11 and the T. If they don't @%$@# up I'll continue to use them even though I have moved down to Wynnum W.

Maybe a category for the driver of the vehicle I.e. Most speeding fines Most pairs of Sandals etc. etc. People could then nominate themselves and send in photos of their Sandal Collection or a copy of their Licence showing the points?

I use Optimax pretty much all the time, however have put BP Ultimate (or whatever its called) in once and it did seem to reduce performance but strangely the economy was better with similar driving habits.

Where abouts in Brisbane is he and did the badge come with it or did you put that on?

When washing my car on the W/E my daughter noticed that there was black residue on the back of the car - I have only used Optimax from day 1. I also just recently had a 2 backfires one of which ended with a vacuum hose coming off / loose. Have to speak to the service dept tonight as they were supposed to have fixed the B/F problem the first time. Maybe its a combination of the fuel / tuning?

And why do you think that people that do these particular modifications are pretenders and what do you think that they are pretending to be? Are then those who choose to modify their engines also pretenders, those who tints their windows charlatans, those who install intercooler grilles fakirs etc. etc.? Perhaps they are individuals who like the look of a particular feature that is not available as an option for their vehicle. I personally liked the look of the Bonnet Bulge, asked the dealer if I could have one, got it done for my benefit - no pretence involved. Anyway my 2 cents worth (rounded down - 0 cents :doh2: )

Tried it whilst doing approx 65Kph and it worked OK It did however take longer than if I went from 5-4-3 as it felt very un-natural to change back in this manner IMHO. I am also still getting used to driving a manual after 25 years of Autos

I have only done approx. 2000 in my Feb 04 build but nothing so far No shudder or squeal

I have recently purchased my T and have driven approx 2K in one month. I originally didn't consider purchasing one as: 1. Didn't like the look :o (believe it or not) 2. Didn't like the colour choices 3. Thought it would cost too much I had a bucket of AUII and it had nearly turned me off of Fords altogether and I was looking at repl;acing this when the lease expired with: 1. Honda Euro 2. Mazda 6 When the time came I revisited the T and test drove an auto and from there on 1. & 2. were no longer an option. The only options were what options and colour. There were still no colours that immediatley jumped out at me as first option. SHMBO and daughter wanted the Blue one so I ordered it still unsure of whether I wanted it. Options were obvious with Hump 1. Audio 2. and Wheels 3. Had I been in site here first, brakes prolly would have been added but so be it. Opinion now is This is the best car I've ever owned, followed by the Original XR in the Photo. Other than getting used to a manual again, after some 25 years with auto trans, it is als the best car I ever driven and for what you get fot the amount you pay, it is the best value by a lllllllong shot. Now: 1. Spend obligatory minute or so looking at it smiling after getting out. 2. Best colour of choices available. 3. Would by another one tomorrow, the day after, the day after etc. :inlove:
