it was looked at when I last had it serviced and there was no faults.. no oil in the coolant just a stray current which was reduced after adding inhibitor and an earth strap. I had blown a heater hose last january, only after driving all night then tapping the accelerator a bit after starting the car but apart from that nothing really.

I just dont get how it could build up enough pressure to do this without overheating or blowing anything else. I must say that when it did burst I was giving my car a bit but the same core is used in xr6 turbo's, xr8's and all these cars on this forum that pull 600+kw's

my mechanic did both. initially I thought it was a dodgy core and had it replaced then it happened again and when I checked it with a multimeter the voltage in the coolant was a bit high so it was put forward that it was electroysis that killed it so we were going put an earth strap on the core and put inhibiter in. if it was anything less the second time I would have done it

this is the heater core which my mechanic pulled from my car last week. the bottom channel blew up like a balloon and pulled the channel away from the inlet. Ford are saying its my car which caused it to happen and that its not covered under their parts warranty. my car had not overheated at all but it still managed to pull enough pressure to do this. what is the real out laying for them to change over rego.. apart from them printing out a new rego sheet and the clerk entering in data. fair enough the transfer fee but 3% sale price!! feel sorry for anyone buying $100k+ cars

slap on the wrist.. at most it will be a fine, loss of licence and a good behaviour bond. lol would be good if they could enforce penalties for how long the chase went for.. lol lets say for every minute $1000 fine and a year off your licence.. I mean you can speed through a red light safety camera and lose at a minumum 7 points and over $600 in fines.. dont quote me on any of this im just dreaming

certainly....no one will ever know I guess. whats not to say this would have happened to some one else who wasnt on the phone . look at how many people pull over on the edge for reasons other than answering phone calls and emergency situations.

I found anytime I phoned my ISP about QOS issues would be fixed after they left me on hold for half and hour and made me reset my modem and router my work has 10mb business grade fibre running to our head office and 80 other sites with a 100mb SHDSL from the ISP to our DC - $120K + a month .. im happy.

anyone who has worked in IT and not just that will know that to get anywhere you need to start at the bottom and shovel sh1t before you reach the gold. I only left highshool 3 years ago and 3 years of working 50+ hour weeks have got me working at a reputable level in one of the most advanced ICT networks in australia. as long as you show people you are enthused and flexable at whatever is put before that's what counts.

yeah but look at the quality of the roads there. doubt you would see the types of cars that there are here. They must think we are crazy with police cars worth twice / three times the value of a typical car.

replacing coils 1 and 3 fixed the issue.. $70 each from fraud and I had them put in for free by my mechanic
