hey guys.. I was wondering whether someone has the dimensions for the biggest sub box that will fit in the space behind the boot on the sedans.. also, does anyone have a template for the 5x7 to 6.5" speaker adapter baffles. thanks.

im on holiday as of tomorow, till feb 10th in QLD. im buying the rest of my gear today and ill begin the installation once I get back. ill upload some pics of the gear later on tonight though.

bought the amps yesterday.. alpine V12's.. 600w mono block and 4x125w 4 channel for the speakers. ive heared alot about the adapter plates (or baffles) for fitting the 6.5" speakers in place of the 5x7's.. can anyone tell me where I can get them from without resorting to ebay? also, is 0 Gauge wiring really necessary? 'cause its bloody expensive jvc dvd player today cant wait..!

hey buddy, how bis is your sub box? is it taking the maximum space in can in the area behind the seats? would u have the dimensions of it? I'm in the middle of a system upgrade myself and am looking at some options.. cheers.

weather looked good tonight so me and some mates went down.. apparently the track was wet because of a massive downpour, so it was cancelled. anyone else get stooged?

anyone know the cost difference? we too are looking into a/c for the home, and don't know whether evaporative or refrigerated is the way to go.. is there much difference in running costs?

spoke to the guys at freeway car audio, and it looks like im gonna go the headunit option. theres an alpine and JVC that do everything I want, and the guys will install it for a pretty decent price so all is well once I get back from QLD in 3 weeks, the fun begins

Getting my install done in about a months time, still buying the hardware. Consists of: Sub, Splits x2, 2 amps, and something to play video's off the Premium Sound ICC. I want to utilize the factory screen, and want the better/easier/cheaper option of doing so. (all I mainly want to do is play video off the factory screen(either through dvd or HDD), not fussed about navigation, internet, and all that other stuff) Now what would you guys recommend in terms of ease and price (im not a zillionaire, so my budget does have it's limits).. Should I use a mini carputer, an xbox, or run a DVD headunit? The system will have to be installed by a professional, as I know absolutely nothing about all the wiring, soldering etc. involved. Sorry about the uneducated questions.. Still an amateur.

wasnt too bad.. not PACKED, but there was at least 20 cars there.. maybe even 30? around there anyway. there should be a few cars im guessing since those who were racing last week get to reuse their tickets because it was rained out. maybe if we make some threads on other forums we can 'remind' others to attend?

if the weather holds up ill come down to spectate with 3 other mates.. we were there last week but it got rained out so hopefully we can use the tickets this week.
