FTG Auto Salvage Discs and calipers will set you back about $500. Calipers are about $250 ea new from Ford.

Have you got aftermarket wheels, if so, check on someone elses Brembo equipped car first that they (wheels) actually fit. www.bsmsport.com.au for the discs - not Sydney though. If you really have to buy them in Sydney thenRacebrakes can probably help you but they will probably buy them off BSM and mark them up and resell to you..

Bridge is closed there, Ivy. To get back to Canberra you need to do a U turn and go back through the Cotter. Corin Forrest Bobsled/Alpine Slide is out that way (about halfway between Cotter and Tharwa, after Tidbinbilla) and is worth a look. They close the slide in Winter as it snows out there, not really enough to ski on, maybe ok for toboggoning but mostly just for sightseeing.

Just announced on Sunrise program (even though he has been talking about it for a while) that Brad Jones is going to retire - effective immediately. He will still co-drive at Sandown. Rumour has it that David Besnard will replace him though nothing official has been said about this as yet.

I've been having concerns lately whether my (aftermarket) cat is functioning properly (blocked not gutted) and spoke to an exhaust shop and they said there is some infared thermometer thing they can stick up the tailpipe that tells them if it's blocked. Don't know if it indicates a gutted cat.

I'd be happy enough with a Nizpro export Typhoon with maybe a few extras.

Don't be obsessed with kw and gains. Torque is probably more important than kw. It depends too as to where in the rev range the gains are anyway. Not much use unless you are a drag racer if it comes in at 5800rpm.

I thought the you loose some low down torque with 4" dump? I also thought this size wasn't needed unless you are chasing ~350+rwkw? Sounds like BUL11E is only aiming at around 300rwkw with those mods.

The Edge 10W-50 is more expensive, about $65 for 5lt, the 0W-60 is a fair bit cheaper for some reason but I guess there must be a reason. I use the Edge 10W-50 in my car. The p/n for the stock Ford airfilter is BA9601A and is about $35 retail.

BS mate. Happened to me. Hooked up the CAPA box and reflashed my good tune back in and all is well again. As for legalities of Ford knocking back your warranty, it is like a game of poker with a lot of bluffing involved. But seriously who has the time and money to pursue the matter in court? Ford have much deeper pockets than most of us here and can afford the time and money. If you play you pay. If you can't afford to pay, then don't play.
