Wish I got paid $30 p/h! I use Castrol Edge 0W-40 in my XR6T and change the oil and filter every 5000km. Probably overkill but I plan on keeping the car for a while and would prefer not to have to rebuild the motor. I don't do many kms so I probably only do 2 or 3 oil changes a year so it's not that expensive when you look at it like that. I have often thought the same thing as OP - why do people use big $ oil when they change cars so often. I guess it's for their own peace of mind as much as it is for the motor.

You need the calipers for the front, rear are the same as stock. I assume you are talking about the BA FPV/XR Premium elliptical grooved rotors, not BF Brembos?

Nizpro price doesn't include trans rebuild or CVs either. Different trans builders different prices but $3K seems average from what I've read. And there's no guarantee as such that the trans will actually last. Several forum members have had their trans done at different trans shops and had to have them done again several months later (usually under warranty).

  7. A Chinese man says he used kung fu to pull a van more than 40 feet with his nose. Fu Yingjie pulled the van, weighing more than 1.5 tonnes with the driver, for 13.3 metres. He told Xinhua News that he used his right nostril to suck one end of a thin line into his stomach. "Once the line reached my stomach, I used kung fu to lock it with the stomach opening," he said. The other end was tied to the van which Fu then pulled across People's Square in Shishi city, Fujian province. His family has been practising Kung Fu for 14 generations, and is well-known locally for such stunts.
