Car looks the great Dan. Good combo in terms of colour, wheels and height. Any time you try and skimp with these it always just turns into headaches in the long run and end up costing more. Hence why its better to do it right the first time ans just enjoy the car afterwards. My only concern with machined RDAs would be how they will go when they are thinner. If they warp at oem thickness how will they hold up after being machined? If it does not cost you anything its worth giving it a go I guess.

That price would be per rotor and most likely would involve you having to pull them off and refit them. Did you clean the oil coating of the new rotors with break cleaned before fitting them? They should not smoke.

If good quality rotors were put on you would not need to machine them after 10000kms. Post a photo of one of the front and I'll tell you if they are RDA or not. If it was me I would not waste money on machining RDA rotors. Save yourself the grief and just bin them

Don't bother machining the stock rooted rotors. DBA T3s are not that expensive these days. Rasma pads are pretty decent price too. Check eBay for prices. I bought from Vic Performance Parts (from memory) and no issues. Cheapest T3 rotors I could find.Down the track put some T2s on the rear too. For FG +25 on the front would have been ideal and would have matched the rear pumped stance nicely.

Based on the photos it looks like you got it from Westside Auto. Only Ford dealers can sell you an extended Ford new car warranty. If the car was first registered after 01/10/2011 is will still be withing the 3 year new car warranty when you pick it up on Tuesday and you will be able to walk into a Ford dealer and extend the warranty. Otherwise your only option is 3rd party. Ford may have a grace period, but I am pretty sure you can only extend within the initial 3yr period.

I think you will go mild cam before blower. Save yourself another re-tune before xmas and just put a cam in it now Diff gears, exhaust, OTR and mild cam will get you over 400rwhp easy.

If the car still under new car warrenty than get a genuine Ford extended manufacturer warranty through a Ford dealer. If you plan on keeping it stock, extending the new car warranty is a good idea. If this is a 3rd party warranty than I'd look very closely at what it actually covers you for.

Was it silver FG by any chance? I see it often going to work and around West Perth/Subiaco. Kwinana was pharked yesterday afternoon. I stayed in the office until 6:30 to let it clear up.

30+ degrees in Perth today. Was good to spend some time outside and in the garden after being stuck in the office for close to 50 hours during past week. Managed to clean the pool, weed the gardens, cut the lawn, do the edges, test and fix a few blocked sprinklers and fitted a set of side steps to the Jeep. Kicking back now with my mate Jack
