  1. Update for all... 10000k's on the new motor. Not using any oil, no leaks (apart from about 50ml of powersteering fluid every week). New process west stage 3 kit fitted along with 4" race air box. I've got my actuator ready to fit up, and as soon as my tax comes back we'll be adding a ported rear housing, new powersteering line, and doing the centre diff bush, along with a tranny service, and a tune. I'm still running the standard valve springs from my BF1 motor, what problems can this cause? if I replace these at a later date, do I need to get the car re-tuned?

  3. you'll know your in trouble when your ICC has a 'blue screen of death' lol.
  4. It's $699 for 4 wheels, and $100 shipping to me. I've got 18's on the car at the moment and will be using the current tyres I have as they are only 8000k's old. I like the ride of the 18's compared to my old 20's.
  5. Got an opportunity to buy a set of these VERDE KAOS wheels in an 18x8 for the falcon. $799 delivered to me in Emerald in QLD. I'll be looking to sell my current 18's to make up some of the cost, but what do you guys think?

    Friday Night?

Finished night shift this morning at 7am, union meeting @ 9am, slept till 3pm... Full of beans now, but have to save something for tomorrow night, first time with a babysitter for the 3 rugrats in over 3 months... This 8th bourbon can is feeling REALY good. ...on a thread hijack, what are people planning for their tax returns this year? Me, I've got a ported turbo housing coming, a ner powersteering hose, a PW surge tank, centre diff bush, tranny service, and a tune... oh and carpets for the house for the missus.
  7. I did a post in that link. I was so impressed with them that I'm getting them for my T. My only problem is I want to go something other than black or grey on the interior but having a Toxic car I'd like something to match. Maybe a Creme, or possible a Blue/Grey
  8. Bunna, how did you go with these? Got any pics?
  9. sounds like a real bargain... make sure they are reputable, don't wanna spend $5500 and find out you need to spend another $3000 fixing f*ck ups.

  11. bahahahahahaha.... favourite thread!
  12. who did this for you? they were pretty fast in their turn around.
  13. I dunno about in VIC, but up here in QLD pregnant or new mother is one of the much approved exemptions... having a 40k (or whatever yours is) debt and 'financial hardship as a young couple with a new child' having to purchase another car, or sell this one and replace it with a different car would still leave you unbearably out of pocket and would make it impossible to live. (my missus works for wld transport up here, and she told me to get you to word it like that).
  14. list of mods?
  15. ...no burnout, why? I do burnouts when I'm running on my 'private racetrack' lol.
  16. Hey im going to need a service on the ZF and my diff bush done and a few suspension bushes done. I can get these done in rockhampton, but seeing as though I'll be in mackay early next month, does anyone know of anyone in mackay that can do these things for me, at a good price?

Group certificates arrived today, so I'm doing my tax tonight during the footy. got a bit to claim, so will be making all the right purchases in the next 3 weeks, and heading to mackay for a bit of a break and some mods. Fingers crossed.
  18. what I was saying is that the dyno reads what is being put out at the wheels... as the wheels spin. my 350 at the wheels, in third is just as true as the next guys 350 in 4th, as they are both measures at the wheels... the only difference would be in torque delivery. But me and brendan are running the ZF6 speed, so I'm pretty sure that 4th seems to be the norm, although my tuner uses 3rd and his tunes have been unbelievable.
  19. 350kw in a BF should be pretty safe... that's about the norm. Keep us posted as to how you go.

doubt I'll be there, it seems all of rockys dyno comps are on at the moment. I'll be hoping to have my last round of mods done early august.
  21. to drop the sump you have to drop the whole front steering and suspension out. I found it easier removing the bonnet and pulling the whole motor out, lol.
  22. 320kw @ the rollers in third is the same as 320kw at the rollers in 4th... The power is being read at the back wheels. the car is still putting 320kw to the ground only some put the 330down while in 3rd gear, and others get it down in 4th gear.
  23. ROCK... Linkin Park - 10 limp bizkit - 10 Rammestien - 10 Metallica - 10 Foo Fighters - 9 Chilli Peppers - 8 Urban... Usher - 9 Ja Rule - 1

that pic showing the inderside of the car... do you have a piece of straight pipe in there instead of a cat? does this improve flow heaps more? I'm thinking about doing this too.
