I was under the impression growlers were a rip off and you can get the same result from cutting a whopping hole in the front of the stock airbox?

a good built 4 speed will handle high 300's no probs. get a 2800 stall while theyre doing it and it'll be a weapon. left untouched it will most likely eventually go pop or at least start slipping though.

if all you want is 'a bit more poke' then what are you worried about? throw 1200 bucks at it for a flash and custom tune, and she'll have a car that will whip your dunnydore all day every day, and the trans will not care one bit. im running 330rwkw through mine, I dont ring its neck or redline it too often and it's fine.

ba offset is +35. I have standard height on front and pedders 'legal' lowered on the back. but ive done the whole belly scraping ride and am after comfort now though. remember that when you go to low profile tyres, the ride will be more jittery, so if you go for ultra low hard springs, then the ride is gonna be awful uncomfortable. best way would be to go for coilovers- adjustable height, shock rebound, etc. comfort and looks- not cheap though....
