Very very very close to a few arse ends myself over the past week... Mixture of reasons, yes, stress, lack of sleep, work, personal crap etc... However I will say in all seriousness no less than 75% of the reason when on the road - I HAVE BEEN TO FARKING BUSY LOOKING AT EVERY SET OF LIGHTS FOR A RED LIGHT CAMERA, EVERY OTHER SET FOR A SO CALLED 'SAFTEY' CAMERA, ON EVERY ROAD WHERE THERE IS A TERROTRY FOR A CAMERA CAR, EVERY POLL FOR A FARKING SPEED CAMERA, AND GOD KNOWS WHATELSE... I SWARE WHERE DOES THIS FARKING BULLsh*t STOP? I WOULD SERIOUSLY PAY A WHOLE 1/4 PROFITS FROM THE BUSINESS TO FIND OUT JUST HOW MUCH MONEY IS RAISED IN THE STATES OF VICTORIA, AND NSW, EVEN THE WHOLE OF AUSTRALIA V'S OTHER COUNTRIES (PER CAPITER OF COURSE)... Speeding, or not - parking tix for 5 mins over the time limit twice in a week, late payment fees, over limit fees, wasted tax $$$, CC Surcharges (and yes I instruct all my guys to charge this as well - we simply can’t cover the charges), the list goes on and on... Business is business, but seriously where does the line get drawn and stop.. If... say you had 2 credit cards, mobile phone and home phone, internet, parking and/or speeding or other fine all in a month or so... CC overdue x2 (est.) $50.00 Late payment on the mobile (est.) $10.00 Late payment on the home phone (est.) $10.00 Internet (est.) $10.00 Parking fine - $80.00 Speeding fine, red light whatever $300.00 $460.00 (isnt that almost half an average weekly wage in Australia)? So even a mistake on the road alone - could seriously cause someone to be short on simply living expenses for the month... Close to 3/4 being that of a fine due to a simple driving slip... This is farking crazy, when you really sit back and think about it... Tolls, Insurance, Rego, etc - why do we even really bother driving in the stupid place... I'd love to know in all seriousness if the wankers who bring in all this crap have really taken a good, hard look at the majority of Australians, serious cost of living, and what the fark is really going on in their own backyards!!! Makes one consider taken up that invite from the Libs to join as a young lib after all... Wonder what the cut off age was... This is farking bullsh*t!!!

I've got an idea... Spray paint cans... Beenies... and a night where an 'unknown' group of people test there artistic skills out on these things... Da Gurly and I had a camera right out the front of our driveway (Castle Hill) and I had always planned on seeing if my pitching arm was still any good... not to sure why I never did test it out... But I will confirm that it was taking out once or twice while we were living there by drivers... Save lives, or just another pole for people to crash into on stupid bends and dumb locations... Oxy flame should cut one of these down pretty quickly... What you think would happen if all the Territory's one night had slashed tyres and painted windows/cameras? Im sure if a car drove past slow enough and a few paint filled water bombs balloons where thrown, the would surly up the thing out of commission for a few hours... Repeated over and over and over again - maybe someone would get the picture one day - red paint maybe? (blood colour after all)... I think if there was a petition sent around for some 'real' research into road safety and speeding/fines etc rather then money grabbing - almost every Aussie ver the age of 16 would sign, and one could only hope and assume people power would have people stand up and take a serious look. Like all the recent reports recommend - serious driver education is more important then money grabbing... Serious question to ask yourself.. Done getting a fine "REALLY" stock you from speeding? Ok, So we always hear about 'dream' teams, made up from many players from all different teams.. So got got me thinking... "BUILD" the ultimate car... Engine? Chassis? 2 seater, cockpit, 4 seater??? Suspension from XXX Car? Brand? etc... What would you use?

Thx guys all sorted now.. Went into the court to drop off the papers and the cute chicky behind the counter happened to be a JP as well... All signed and sorted... Now just need to wait to see if the judge thought I was a nice guy or not... Funniest part of this is - my old man is a JP... but his in Albury and im in bloody Sydney this week!

bunna - you are correct. So I will point you back to the orignal comment and additional comments I made, and have mentioned he said in passing. "I dont know if there will be another aussie falcon as it currently stands" (or whatever it was I said earlier). The puropse of the thread was "what if there is not another aussie falcon"... As for planning and concepts - big business does this until the day funding, it the powers at be say - lock the doors! Regardless of profits v's other companies in the same field - this is not a bullet proof/sure sign that a company wont make changes or cut a product line for other reasons, be that profits or other. So - again I say, this was a 'what if' my friend, therefore please calm and dont stress... Im sure you still have a job for sometime to come... (btw - nope not telling who it is or what company... but ill say this - he did take some door shells out of ford a few years back for a trade show... I would take a stab and think that the 'critical' suppliers that have been so for years and years and years, know the inventory levels, planed builds and near every details of the production line... hhhmmm

All I can say is - if this guys sits in a board room with the heads of state where the flag is flown out the front - planning what is required to hold these things together, parts requirements, and build schedules one would assume the guys would 'maybe, just maybe' have some idea what his talking about? No? So in short, if his at Ford, talking about the next roll out, and they say - hold for xyz for xxx period, then he knows... If he tells Ford sorry no abc part - Fords production line - well, quite simply comes to a holt until he can get more abc123's... (and yes he supplys Holden, Toyota, and the aircraft component companies all with the same form of parts...) Mind you this was after a lot of eatting at his dining table, 2 bottles of wine between the girls (his wife and the gf), and a few dram shots he and I polished off...
