If the body is ok and you check around for faults it should be worth it ,especially if it has duel cliamate control and premium sound,they would ask more than that in a yard.

I had that problem and my dealer replaced the base of the seat,back when BA/BF were new they had a recall on them,I tried all the lube tricks to no avail,so try the dealer....J K.

Same here ,I went to trade mine 04 T on a $35000.oo F6 and they offered me $13000.oo ,so I am keeping it. The yard had late model FG turbo there for $34000.oo its to much to lose, sell it private or mod it ,,,,.

Just had mine fixed by Ford ,duel climate control not getting hot on left side,. It was the mixer shaft ,its a dash out on BA/BF ,don't know how much repair it was under warranty.

My seat was creaking and car was under warranty and they replaced the seat base,told me that the cars with fairmont or luxury pack often had this problem but mine is all good now.......Misty

Totally unrelated to anything,but way way back in the 70' a black roof lining was an option on XW and it was hi priced option at $10.00 extra yes ten dollars with that you got black visors as well !! ah the good old days...

Anyboby had any problems with the 5 speed auto yet,a mate just had a failure big time in his FG ,no drive in any gear plenty of bang ,crunch, and will not come out of gear untill you turn off engine, he is not happy. Has had other big problems as well,the normal diff bang which is not fixed yet rear supension noise plus a biggie where the water leaked in needing a dash out to fix,the firewall panels were not level and holding the windscreen up causeing leak , needed new carpet,under felt etc. He likes the car but his patience is wearing out ,his BA had no problems at all now he is dissapointed. Back to problem anyone had total failure with the 5 speed????? thanks misty....

I paid $202.00 each for DBA 4000 with wiper slot at REPCO , I think they might have quoted you the GOLD cross drilled and slotted disc,s/ I saw a site the other day where the 4000 where about 350 I will try to find it and get back to you / J K.

No mate I have a lightening strike BA ,you see it from time to time on random vehicles above ,its the one faceing away from the camera,I like that power as I said I do a lot of trips an that would be reliable. Next time I see you at the drags I will come over and meet you. thanks j k .

Well congratulations on your good news ,I would not sell your car for lots of reason/// you might have to make a quick trip to hospital,the mess they can be cleaned ,and alot of dads here will tell when the baby has a bad night or c,ant go to sleep take them for a drive and the noise and movement of the car puts them to sleep almost every time,it worked on both my kids . cheers ..J K...

Regarding the water leak a mate has an FG and it is getting repaired at the moment,carpets renewed,under felt etc,it was a dash out ,screen out,big job,the leak was where the two panels of the firewall were not spot welded correctly and sitting uneven which was not letting the windscreen seat properly,and he is not impressed at all. Other than that its not a bad car,but I am going to keep my BA, ...cheers J>K.
