My 2004 BA has done 176000km apart from normal service and a couple of normal BA problems it still goe's great. PS .gearbox is still holding up despite plenty of sprited driving. [Ford speak] J K.

I would check the cat ,some have been known to collapse straight away as soon as you start up, faulty cat ..... -
Check your ABS sensors, sometimes one will make one wheel drag a bit causeing a high speed vibration normally the last thing to get checked....J K..

Your sunroof may have lost its memory ,sometimes happens if battery is disconected . To restore the memory, push the right arrow and open slide the roof right back and hold the button for a few seconds until you hear a click and it is back to reset ,then you can set the roof again to where you want it. J K...

XR6TRBOOOOOOO What is the car doing, a little more detail would be good ,doe's it rev out in 1st and then die ,or just miss ,it could be any of the things suggested,if the basic things like plugs ,coils, fuel filter don't fix it ,take it to decent ford dealer and get them to diagnose it for you,might save you some money. Mine was dying like that and it was the wastegate actuator. good luck .....J K.... -
Before you get supension work done check the abs sensors ,there are a few BA/BF with some km's on them getting a balance problem and all it is ,the sensor's need a wipe and clean ,a cheap and quick fix......... JK.

I spoke to the bloke at work and I am sure the brake problem has to to with the ABS, he said it was the sensor holding one brake on ,on the front. good luck. J K.....

A mate at work had the same problem with the shake ,and had everything replaced as you have ,and it was the ABS on one front wheel ,dirty sensor ,they just cleaned it and it is all fixed,might be someting to look at??????....J K..

I don't think body age pick cars ,its how old you are in the head. Remember the saying= Getting old is compulsory- Growing up is optional . I am 64 still keen on performance cars. J K....

I recon the best Ford Service Dept is Macarthur Ford at Campbelltown,the Service Manager is into performance cars and always takes an personal interest in them ,Ask to see his car he always does a few mods to his . J K.......

On an FG how do I remove the lens off the interior roof light to add some blue globes,do I just take the lens off or the whole light off?? thanks in advance.....J K..

I have a 2004 turbo that was doing the same thing and it was the turbo actuator causeing the problem,.cheers..J K..

Had my mixer shaft replaced,its a dash out job cost $800, later had HIM module done dash out about the same price . Had door actuator done around $280. These problems are common on BA/BF normally do them once and ok after that,good cars are worth it. My BA has done 170000km and still go great. J K.

Prestige Sunroofs at taren point do them ,same one they fit to new cars, yes they to cut the roof struts , but they fit a frame around the sunroof ,is covered by warranty ,they have two styles make sure you check them out ,I like the one which has two openings ,you can tilt one or two,looks good ,and start from $2400.00 - $2700.00,I would certainly get one in a FG. cheers ......J K...
