July 21, 201016 yr #1 ive herd great things about the dba4000.so I went into my local brake store to get some, the standard ones are $200 each, or $400 each for slotted.he said there sponsours of the rba's and they can do 2!!! slotted ones for $250.so a massive differance in price, and he said there almost identical.so whats your opinions boiz?
July 21, 201016 yr #3 Author like for a set of front dba $800 set of front rba $220, so is it worth paying $580 EXTRA! like, will it matter that much?I was thinking maybe rba on the rear and the front can have the dba?Im gonna get them in the typhoon size so I can get the typhoon calipers. To put on my BA.That should be able to stop 330rwkw?I hope!lol
July 21, 201016 yr #4 You obviously havent seen the prices Hiro Performance do on rotors mate?DBA4000's (Fronts) to suit a FPV BA - $249each for Slotted. I will happily accept $400 each if your offering though.Stick with DBA. Australian made. Edited July 21, 201016 yr by HIRO F6
July 21, 201016 yr #5 DBA last and don't warp...RDA is also Australian (rotors and discs Australia) but are an inferior product, hence the reason they are so cheap... I put RDA on my last BA and they warped...
July 21, 201016 yr #8 Sure did. Had them machined a few times. Rang DBA and the shop I bought them from and they didnt want a word of it.Once bitten. twice shy
July 21, 201016 yr #9 The type of pad you use can greatly effect the probability of shudder. Make sure you select a quality pad material to go with your rotor choice.Benny
