  2. I know this is an old thread guys, but I wanna get these in 235/45/R17 Does anyone know somewhere im melbourne that do them? And how much roughly for that size?
  3. In all seriousness, how does something like this happen on a brand new motor? doesn't make any sense..
  4. sell yours, buy a T, do the supporting mods to 300rwkw, and drive a legal car around. (bar the tuning alteration) and you'll be laughing.
  5. if I owned a cement truck I'd go dump a load onto them.. damn about the point to point ones.. lucky I know for next time.
  6. no no no you've got it wrong.. we need more people like them. LESS HOONS! :o
  7. I dont understand how the ones on the hume can be point to point ... I've done a few trips and I sit on 130 inbetween and I've never been done. Also, the photo system they use requires a flash to go off for the picture to even come out.. so that would mean every car that goes past has it's picture taken? But no flash goes off?
  8. broken actuator (causes it to stay open and not make boost) faulty solenoid.. could also be the impeller in the exhaust housing?? some other guy had a similar problem in another thread..
  9. don't speed and they'd go out of business.. don't hate the player, hate the game.
  10. This should be the order of mods/cost Stage One: - Injectors/Fuel pump/Valve springs/Cooler 270 - 300rwkw Stage Two: - Turbo work (wastegate port/flapper/actuator)/exhaust/upgraded cooler/piping/re-tune 300 - 340rwkw Stage Three: - Crazy sh*t you don't have to worry about yet.. without a built motor.. Any other oder is just doing things wrong. This order ensures reliability and longevity of your engine.. Plenty of threads around on this as well.. Including a sticky at the top of one of the sub forums?
  11. Thanks for sharing mate.. Where did you get nabbed out of interest? You said a camera got you? Glad to hear it all got sorted..
  12. retrofitting the zf will be a nightmare. t56 is a lot easier. if you're selling the ute as a 5 speed and buying another car, different story.. good luck with it
  13. daaaamnnn man. I had big hopes for your car to remain stock and blow away the built motors!
  14. in the forum sponsors section of this site.. his username is 6speedXR8 or something similar.
  15. contact mal wood in regards to what you will need + total cost price of the conversion. tell him you're from this forum and he'll look after you. cheers
  16. straughsberry got 365rwkw with the stock crossover? I think? It's dam small in some parts, not a very good slowing system.. definitely adds to lag.
  17. 18 November 2005? 8 cylinders? Operator: wog? Don't even get me started on the graph...
  18. Try changing the battery check you haven't knocked any earth straps off during the service check your throttle body for carbon build up check that all vacuum hoses are connected correctly behind the turbo at the back of the head there's a wiring loom that goes into the head. there has been an issue that if this wiring loom melts, it can cause erratic idle, etc. check all those things, if that fails, maybe take it to a tuner and get them to diagnose further (read the fault code on the ecu)
  19. Plenty of threads on this, use the search feature. Above 2 posts are on the money.
  20. All fitted.. I ripped the logo off and it looks great. might get it powdercoated black if I can be bothered..
  21. I wouldn't put 360 - 370 through a stock bottom end if my life depended on it. Very nice figure dylan, will be there with you soon (hopefully)
