BCL Rear Muffler: Height 17cm Width 26cm Length 40cm Middle Muffler: Height 16cm Width 28cm (this was the hardest to measure so may be marginally off) Length 34cm Would you like me to try and upload a sound clip?? For me it's too loud. Is there an exhaust that retains stock noise levels but is free-flowing or does that not exist?? I like the exhaust quiet 'cus I like my induction sound better and when driving through traffic don't want any attention from the exhaust. Do you think if I bolt back the OEM middle muffler section and keep the rear Xforce muffler section it will supress the noise?? Thanks heaps, I know you have had a lot of experience with exhausts.... sensoryamusia I have heard of guys making 400RWKW on the stock dump. My Cat is already free flowing...... How much power do you think I'd pick up from a dump and cat?? I am limited by my standard BA Conrods and am already making 308RWKW on the stock exhaust with high flow cat.......

Hi guys, Well took my car to the exhaust shop to have my 2.5" cat back xforce installed! Its a fair bit louder than the stock system!! When it was being installed though I noticed it's not actually a cat-back system at all 'cus it doesn't connect to the cat. There is still about a metre and a half of stock 2.25" pipe from the cat which I wasn't too happy about.... So does someone sell a twin 2.5" pipe to connect from my BA cat to the new exhaust?? If not I might have to look at dump + cat + pipe ( I think xforce do this, not sure on the $$ though??) I wanted to avoid doing dump etc 'cus of the cost....... Any suggestions? Thanks guys

I've got a BA with: Whiteline Sway Bars front and rear King Springs (standard height) Koni Adjustable Shocks (set to the firmest setting) Handles really really good for a large car!! And I'd just get a brake upgrade kit - I've got the FPV ones (same as PBR) with Braided lines and DBA rotors - difference between the stockies is absolutely amazing!! For me - Brembo and AP are overkill..........

Hi guys, What would the restriction be on the following exhaust system and how restrictive would it be etc etc......FYI it's a BA Standard Dump to Empty factory cat to Xforce twin 2.5" Cat-Back system....... Would it be the entry / exit of the standard cat?? Would it be the dump?? Do the xforce dumps bolt directly to the factory cat?? If it's the entry / exit of the cat who makes one with a larger entry / exit?? Thanks!!

Why does everyone recommend a dump upgrade when there are 400RWKW T's using the stock dump? Apparently the standard mufflers constrict to 1.75" internally so surely the exhaust restriction (after the cat) would be the mufflers and not the dump ???????

Thanks guys.... BLUUOA my car isn't lowered and everything in forward gears seems fine so could it still be the driveshaft?? Also I've had all my diff bushes done recently as I got the fulcrum main bush done. May be the gearbox perhaps??

My car is a little slow to select reverse once the fluid is warmed up....not too much of a problem for me, just a little annoying.. However if it's slow taking up and I give it a tiny nudge with the accelerator I can hear this kind of bang from the back. It's not a depp sound, it's more of a high pitch sound........sort of high pitched metal if that makes sense?????????????? Any ideas where it would be coming from and what it would be?? Thanks heaps

Any pics of the under battery CAI used in conjunction with the normal crossover pipes ???? How about a Y-piece off the turbo -- half going to the normal factory intake and half to the under battery intake. I think that would be cool.......

Yes seriously this is a top rule which should be hammered across more. Keep the pedal down.....yes the dog will die but look at the alternative!! You should always hit the dog. If that idiot driving can't think and react under pressure he shouldn't be overtaking at such speeds. Also it would be cool if the green XR6 had 'TURBO' badges on the side!! haha

Hi guys! Ok so I have just spent a bomb on my car installing a new rear diff bush and diff cover. I also had new brakes installed at the same time. The shop that did the work didn't have a wheel alignment machine so I wait about 3 days and take it to a guy around the corner that does. When I pick up the car he let me know the rear right CV Hub has busted and it is leaking black stuff. It's going all over the back of the new caliper... I'm not too good with this stuff but shouldn't the original mechanic picked up that problem? My car is standard height by the way. Is it a huge job to fix the CV Hub? I'm pretty sure he said CV Hub...but might have been CV Boot?? I don't need more rear end problems..... Should I be taking it back to the original mechanic??

That's one of the dumbest things I've seen... Maybe he had a spare GM motor laying around...and a lot of time.....

Thanks guys, Yeah that makes sense...maybe I should try the softer spring first and then if it still does it have my connector enlarged. I have plazmaman piping already but the exit weld on the pipe is the same size as standard I think? Shouldn't be too much of a problem for them to take it off, cut a hole and put a larger diameter weld on there..... I'll let you know how I go with the soft spring.....

Hi guys, Ok so I have this GFB Hybrid BOV which is like a 3-in-1 valve. You can have it full-atmo, 50/50 or fully plumbed-back. I have experimented with all 3. BTW mine is an auto running 15psi... When revs are high and the foot comes off it's fine....gives a loud and snappy WHOOOOOOSH! Problem (for me) is when the revs are low.....say between 2000 and 3000 under light acceleration and you back off it give the TU TU TU TU TU TU sound. It was cool at first but it's becoming annoying. My car is a sleeper and under normal driving acceleration (2000 - 3000rpm I don't want any noise. I only want noise when I am hammering it.....not driving to the shops and back if you know what I mean.....I want the TU TU TU TU TU noise gone.... Is there something I can do regards spring etc? I wound the adjustable spring to the softest level and it still does the TU TU TU TU.... (When I put on the twin trumpets to full atmo it was SO LOUD!!!! haha pretty funny!)

My breather pipe from crossover to rocker cover has snapped at the point where it connects to the crossover. Half of it is now stuck in my nice plazmaman pipe! Is there a company that make a nice polished replacement or am I stuck with buying a new one from fraud? I know this is pretty common so hopefully there is a better replacement around somewhere....
