Hi guys, I'm picking up an 02 Turbo soon which is a completely stock auto. I have to drive a fair way to pick it up...anyways my mate is giving me a lift. He has a c.o.m.e 5 litre VN Late model camira which ran a 13.9 at eastern creek a few weeks back. Here's the thing...I want to be able to kick his butt on the way home...(just up to the speed limit of course). Will my stock turbo keep up??? Another option is buying an edit and using one of the generic tunes....he won't even know I have done it.......how will the generic tunes go against the dunnydore??? Thanks guys!!!!

Hi guys, I am getting a mk 1 ba and it has premium sound already. What I would like to know is how do I get sat nav to work through the colour screen? What are my options here? If I am using the sat nav through the screen can I still listen to a cd?? Also I would like a handsfree mobile phone thingymajigy... I have a sony ericsson that has bluetooth and all the bits and pieces but not sure of the best way to go about making it handsfree. Can the sat nav and phone be connected through the premium sound?? I have done some searches but haven't found any info. I'm not interested in reverse cameras or ipods or mp3s etc...just the sat nav and phone.... Thanks guys...appreciate it...

Hi guys, Ok so I have some mods coming up. Definitely going to get siemens injectors, typhoon air intake and k&n filter plus an edit.... Now thing is what do you think the power will be with the above combo ??? How much do you think I would get if I added a high flow CAT ??? Would you guys do the cat too or don't yoiu think it is worth it??? It's a 4 speed auto BA....

Hi guys, Ok so my car has done 95,000km and I want to put in a new fuel pump. I don't want a better flowing unit, just the original pump replaced. Questions are what is the original fuel pump and how much dollars is it?? Also is it easy to install the replacement yourself in a BA sedan?? Should I attempt or pay someone to do it?? Thanks!

Thanks Rapid, I'll be starting with a good base. I'm going to do the following before any mods... AT Cooler + oil, engine oil, oil filter, fuel filter, K&N filter and plugs.. The car is a BA...one of the first...DEC '02 It's done 95,000 KM and it's an Auto.. I'd like maximum 300rwkw...be happy with 280 - 290 ??? Would I need a fuel pump to achieve this??? I was hoping I could do Edit, CAI, injectors and Cat ???? Any thoughts.... Many thanks!! Gilto

Hi everyone, It's come time to do some mods and I have some ideas. Out of the following what order would you suggest...money is a big issue here as I don't have an open cheque book unfortunately... Anyways here is what I had in mind...what stages would be 1, 2, and 3 and approximately what power would your combo make?? Am I missing anything from the list you would also recommend?? CAI K & N Filter Fuel Pump Injectors Edit CAT Valve Springs Here is what I thought...will be interesting to see if people agree or disagree.. Stage 1 Edit + Injectors Stage 2 Edit + Injectors + CAI + K&N Filter + CAT Stage 3 Edit + Injectors + CAI + K&N Filter + CAT + Valve Springs + Fuel Pump Thanks guys!

Hi guys, I'm considering purchasing a 2002 Turbo. I went to inspect it on the weekend and everything seemed fine and the car went really well on the test drive. Only thing was the coolant tank was an orangy colour.....it had plain water in it and the level of the water was low. I have heard about the transmission fluid and the coolant mixing so I figured this might be the case on the car??? Would it still be worth buying or should I steer clear?? When did ford start using a seperate transmission cooler to solve that particular problem?? The water in the coolant tank seemed pretty clear to me but I am not great with mechanicals so I thought I should ask all of you.......and I really appreciate your help....just don't want to buy something that will give me problems... Perhaps I could purchase the car and have a seperate cooler installed??? Many thanks, Gilto!
