I seem to get a clicking sound when using the 'sports' mode. When selecting sports mode and holding it in gear I hear clicking sounds at a point where I think it should be chasnging gear in D for drive. Is this what you are hearing? Is this normal??

whats a 'stage 1' style tune worth. ie a tune on a stock engine to bring around 250rwkw?

My dad owns a BA XR8 and I have a BF XR6T. Having driven both I love the ability of the 8 to 'hang' the rear out (in my driveway of course) with ease, they have the torque that's for sure. You can still do the same in the 'T' by keeping it on boost. The XR6 feels a little more nimble and feels like a smaller car to drive. I think the main diff is the fuel economy. With my dad chugging around in his 8, cant manage any better than 14L/100km. However in my 6T, im consistantly getting 11l/100km and that's giving it the boot here and there.

What are your previous rides? Turbo? They are not the fastest things in the world but they are turbo'd so smashing the loud pedal to the floor before you get it on boost will make it feel even more slugish.

In my BF 'T' ZF auto im consistantly getting around 11L/100km while using 3/4 of the tank for highway driving and the rest booting it around the local streets. Im currently on 10.8L/100km and have just installed the 2nd snorkle and K&N filter so it will be interesting to see any difference.

Im interested in doing a gas conversion on my XR6T. Has anyone got it fitted in Sydney?

How much height do you need? You can try pumping your tyres up to some very high pressure. Not sure if this will work with lower profile tyres though.
