Cheers, nah the 2wd ute would just be handy to have and it would be for the missus as she works just a few km's down the road. I would be clocking up the km's on the car... Just looked at the hyundai i30 and the diesel is a great looking option.. probably a little more then I wanted to spend but its packed with features and well I am yet to see any other car reach 4.7L/100km...Also its slightly bigger then the ones like jazz, swift, mazda2 etc etc..

Ok the mrs car has finally been laid to rest its an old laser, and with my job at the moment I'm doing 750km's a week to and from work and the price of fuel at the moment. What I was thinking was to sell the ford privately or tradein and go for something like the Mazda2 "genki" just after something functional and cheap to run and also get a 2nd car or probably a ute like a 2WD hilux bravo courier what ever 2nd hand... How would you guys combat this, I know some of you wouldn't trade your ford for anything but the miles is really hurting the hip pocket. Basically what we need is 2 vehicles and wouldn't mind a 2WD ute of some sort, cheap to run and reasonably cheap 2nd hand. But for the car probably something new like the mazda2. Appreciate any feedback on what you would do or advice you would give..

hrm.. I would have to do 500km's just to get to the cruise. I'll vote and we'll see what date it ends up at..But would be cool, and I'd make the journey

sorry mate I didn't take any pics when I did mine, but I know 2 of the brackets lined up for me and the other two I drilled new holes for.

ok 70km drive to work and well I think I'll keep the AFR guage.. it does dance a fair bit but while cruising sits in stoich to rich and doesn't move that much.. Changing gears comming off cruise or around town and its like being at the discotek.

I might take a video and put it up.. you can tell me if its all normal.. :D

Yep going now, lots of action on the black wire. way too much action really doesn't actually peak but bounces between lean stoich and rich flashing the warning light each time it hits rich or lean lol... I now see where the term disco lights come from..Man it was a bastar$ to install as well.

I've got a BF and I've tried black and grey so far for the o2 sensor.. still no readings :D guess I'll just try them all.

Ok after some investigation I've found that its the add at the bottom of the threads. you click back once and that add unloads back again and u actually go back..

heh well I tapped into the grey on the dump pipe side of the connector, I'll test and see how it goes.

is it the same for BF mk1 ??

when the car is on ramps how much oil should you expect at the oil filter? I want to screw it off to get at the engine oil sensor, will I need to do an oil change lol? is the oil level below the filter? or will it run out if I screw it off .. cheers...

you can do that with any browser... I like to hit show new posts, click the topic then click back to go to my search... But yes there are ways around it. As for your real browser comment, well I use firefox and the issue I am having is on both, so I posted to see if others have the same issue which it seems they do. Although thanks for your nothing comment.

Just the last week or 2 when I read a thread I have to hit back twice? to go back to the forum. Anyone else got this going on? It may not seem like a big deal but sometimes you forget and hit it once and wonder wtf is going on..
