I drove my car hard after I had my first tune in her.. capa 10psi generic and that made 265rwkw... then drove it harder with the current 313rwkw tune.. and it finally died after 6 months of caining the crap out of it!!! but then again.. the previous owner was running around 280rwkw and its 3.5 years old... so that probably didnt help it! but it all depends on the car!!! your gearbox should be able to handle 250rwkw for a fair while ( a lot longer than what mine lasted me). if your worried about having to fork out $$$ for a rebuild anytime soon, spend the money and stick an aftermarket tranny cooler with a fan on it!! and with regular transmission flushes it should help to prolong the life of your gearbox!!! I would also be talking to your tuner about adjusting the shift and line pressures to help firm up the shifts!!!!

car is going into elite on the 3rd of december to have the gearbox rebuilt!!! gonna add a 2700rpm stall convertor and a few extra goodies!!! will keep yas posted on how she goes!!!

to me it sounds like the exhuast wheel on the turbo is out of whack and might not have been balanced properly

good to see your as happy as I am with the result dude!!! after the hours we spent and the jimmys we drank installing your kit.. I wouldnt have been happy with anything under 320rwkw!!!! and it goes like it a rocket dude!!! cant wait to get my gearbox fixed to line you up

if I had 3rd gear JT I would accept your challenge!!!! I have something else to line you up against on dyno day though that will be very close, if not beat you!!

was on my way to the usual thursday nite hangout on thursday nite.. was cruising along, not doing anything stupid at all. then all of a sudden the gearbox decided to do its own thing, shifting up and down gears without accelerating or changing them manually... I thought nothing of this, so we kept on driving and 200m further the car decided to stall. we managed to roll it into a side street. I thought nothing of this either.. the car started again first go.. as the car has stalled before for no reason.. we got it to a servo where I re-flashed my tune back into it.. we left and I noticed that we were doing 70kmh and revs were at around 3500. I thought that this was unusual and decided to go through the gears manually. felt it change from first to 2nd, but 3rd to 4th there was nothing!! wasnt pissed off with the gearbox dieing as I knew it was going to happen at anytime. so im up for a rebuild!!!! still deciding where to take it. car lasted 6 months of hard driving with 310rwkw..

spotted lts60 on the street behind coco's in logan yesterday arvo!!

made 312rwkw at the Elite Dyno day... 2 degrees of timing on top of the 98 tune and I was running v power racing..

could be the injector scaling on the standard injectors!!! have a talk to your tuner and see what they can do!

do you have aftermarket injectors???? could be the injector scaling at cold start... running a bit too lean on cold start.. ive got exactly the same issue with mine... but I wouldnt be terribly worried about it. if it standard I would be talking to ford about the issue as I never had rough idle on cold start when mine was stock. hope this helps

I reckon plugs or the torque reductions inthe tune.. had the same troubles in my car.. cruise control didnt work and we had to find a happy medium... we set the torque reductions a bit to high on the first attempt and on the test drive it came onto boost, then felt like it died then came back.. did this all the way to around 5000rpm. all fixed now though!!! also hard to give advice without being in the car.... hope it gets fixed mate!!!!

mine made 213.8rwkw and ran a best of 13.82@108mph
