Thanks Guys, some good help here, have done lots of these things though. This is why I am handling this situation more than the rest of my family. it gets to me when they are being attacked and they arnt handling right. No matter how much I tell them all to turn there back on her they just cant. They think they can beat her doing like wise back. I have told them if they dont give her a reaction she would see she is not getting to them. Anyway not much changing on the front here. john k Yes we had those sort of telling times as she was growing up, we thought it was middle child syndrome as that is what everyone said. we tried to do lots of things to show we loved her as much as the others. I suggest for you to try getting help asap so she doesnt turn out like my daughter has. Blonk, that is fantastic your children have done well. I think if we had, had a boy and a girl first off then later down the track had another boy and girl then we may not have these issues we are currently having or maybe its to do with this me generation, Just dont seem to be able to find any light at the end of this very dark tunnel we are in now with our problem child. Some of our problems have been the girl to girl rivary and bitching. The problem child is second oldest in a group of 3 and this is like saying 3 is a crowd. I am hoping for great things from my children too one day, just wish they wouldn't have to be terrible teens. we are going through hard times at present but I would not know what I would do if I didn't have my children I do love them very much and would not ever want it any different. It is the most wonderful feeling watching your children mature, nothing compares. We will have to deal with our problem and keep searching for a solution. Iam so sorry if I have turned any people off in having children. Suppose it cant be all good and no bad. The joy we have from our children far out ways this bad period. For a easier up bringing I suggest trying make sure you make the rules and dicissions, dont let them try to manipulate them in the slightest. And maybe not have them so close together like my 3 eldest only being seperated by only 3 years. We keep thinking we have failed with our problem child, have to keep reminding each other that the other children have been good and its not us having done the wrong.

LOL, if only keeping them home worked. Well tried everything with my problem child, if I say she is not allowed out, she calle me a Stupid Old C*#T and worst and just walks. Now I have tried everything to teach her you dont treat people like this and tried to disapline her. I cant smack her, I cant lock her out. But according to Child Protection services(CPS) if she doesnt come home when we say and calls at midnight we are to say to her that she was told to be home by what time we set and that she is to find her own way home. That is very strange as she would then be a risk of harm or worst. Last Sunday night (Monday my first day back at work) she didn't come home at 5pm as told. the wife tracked her down by calling numerous numbers from her message bank daughters friends had left. Pretended to be a friend of theres and found out they where at a party. 11.15pm. we head over to the friends house she was with, ask the mother where they were, the mother says that they where down the road but had told them they both had to be home by 12 mid night. The wife says that they arnt at a friends but are at a party drinking, the lady tries to denigh it. They call them and tell them to get home, after waiting 15-20min still havn't arrived home, the lady goes for a drive and picks them up. On returning my daughter smells of alchole her eyes watery and dilated. She admitts to drinking, we call the police, get told that they cant help, asked if they can atleast breath test her so we can so CPS, no only breath test DD. taking her back home she is treatening to get gangs on to all of us, thens hits the wife. I turn car around and tell her she can stay at her friends house as Iam not having her hit the family. Driving back to her friends she says for us to drop her at another friends house, I said no and she jumps out of the car at a set of lights and kicks the car (Luckily no damage). that's the last I have seen her, she has had the hide to sms me asking for money since then, I have told her straight that I will never give her money when she treats us like that. Monday and tuesday I dont go back to work as try getting help all of which gave no solution. We cant help her, the services wont help her so what do you do... we are now thinking to lie to the ambulance the next time she has been drinking in saying she may have taken unknown drugs and is acting very violently to family. From all the services we have learnt if they can examine her for mental behaviour she can get help. Only problem is hoping they class her actions as being life threatening or harmful to herself or just being disobident. If found to be mental issue she can get help from this place called Barret House. They school them, give physciactric help and any other assistance they need. Think they attend weekdays and go home weekends. This I feel would be great as it would keep her from these bad influences and help her get back to living a stable family life. If you have one girl make sure you be hard on them and dont let them have to much freedom as they grow up and it might be easier when they hit those dredded teens. Make sure you never have 2 girls aged closely or as Worm says ----- But girls... Oh my, the bitchiness never ends!!! I understand life was not ment to be easy but for god sake does it have to be this dam had and upsetting. Looking at moving out of home to keep family safe from daughter, having daughter live with me. I have suggested this to her and said it would be a caravan (Response NO, not a caravan). Also since having to pay more rent we would not be having a tv or stereo and have to really budget and go without luxuries. This may work, but will have effects on family as well wife is saying knowing daughter she will just run off and I would be stuck with a lease not to mention probably go and lie and say I had assualted her physically or sexually. I have a Blitz twin scoope DOT approved full fibreglass bonnet. It has been professionally alter into one scoope. Looks near exact as the one sleeper6T link to. If you look at the one on ebay linked by psifrk you will notice it kicks up at top on opening. I dont like how it does that, that's my opinion. It is also by memory just a fibre glass hump section you bog, glue to your xr6 bonnet. Cheepest opion though. I am thinking of having a territory or wrx sti scoope grafted into my xr6 bonnet and may sell the blitz one. My son keeps nagging not to sell it and to fit the blitz as it looks so good now being single scoope. If I do sell it it will be $800 freshly undercoated with 2 pack primer. I wont post it, would need to be picked up from Underwood QLD unless buyer wants to organise transport. PM if interested I am still thing about weather to sell or not. will make a decision in the next few weeks.

I was told when I ran my TD cortina I fitted a 351w in it and ran on deicated lpg. I was worried about the valves recessing, some guy I spoke to back then said as it was a used engine the valve seats would be hard enough due to the valve seating on hot valve seats giving them basically hot forgeing. I had had heads off a couple of times and checked valve heights and never had any excessive wear or seats recessing. Now this would be totally different if it was a brand new engine having soft seats. The other thing I would think here is that the BA exhaust seats would for sure be better quality and harder than a old windsor seats. The only problem I would think would be if the valve can take the heat as well if you add heavy valve springs weather you risk knocking the head off the valve or stripping the grooves for the locks (collets). Use to be a problem for the old crossflow and ford v8s running multi groove stems. What I use to do back with them was grind the collects down so when they clamp the valve they would not touch there for clamping hard on the valve stem. The other differance in doing that was the valves dont rotate as much but never had any problems, and no more stripping the valve stems. If you choose to run the standard seats and valves I would suggest not to run high valve spring pressures, and keep the boost low. If your intend spending dollars on the bottom end do the valves and have seats fitted, atleast on the exhaust side. Hope this helps

I have seen some cars with custom tints like metal flake, usa flag etc. Does anyone know if I can get something like ford or fpv done or something that's different to just the normal. Prefer Brisbane southside, other SE QLD ok if can do on a weekend. Other than that can tints be matched as need rh rear replaced as one of my siblings has scratched the tint (glass untouched). Think it is a factory tint. My rear has bobbled and is now completely crap. If cant do something different for the rear screen, then Just go as dark as possible with a quality tint that will not bubble and go to crap. I have pulled the edge up and it seems to be very easy to remove so will do myself. PM price and etails.

The pictures dont do jutice for the interior. In pictures I feel the white/cream stands out more and tends to look better. But in person, the black in my option just looks so classy as in Merc/BMW top line. that's my opinion. Leave the grille the way it is, looks heaps better. Very nice car.

Being factory muffer, I would say the baffles in side have come lose. You will find the baffle plates are spot welded into place and with added exhaust pressure on the rear muffler from deleteing centre and extra power would make the chances of the plates coming lose.

have a look at my for sale add LC6i line convertor. I was told there are cheaper convertors on the market but they suffer interferrance and dont process the signals correctly. You run your speakers wires to it and it converts it correctly to rca output, then plug it into a amp to power whatever you would like. It is 6 channel so you can run a full system from it. Look at my ad for more details. Also have other audio gear for sale plus other parts. Its new in sealed plastic bag in a cardboard box. Cost me $300 Sell $230 plus postage if needed. I have changed my setup by going with a external DVD head unit. The down side is I lose the steering wheel audio control in going with the external head unit. Arnt they so beautiful.... till your girls get to there teens. I have a 17 yo girl 15 yo girl 14 yo boy 5 yo boy Had some trouble with the eldest when she was 13-15 but now she is coming good again. The 15 yo well here is where it starts, she's the boss, cant tell her what to do, she has no respect at all Calling both the wife and I every name under the sun when we say no even for the littliest of things. She has treathened us in saying she is going to stab us in our sleep, shapes up to her mother alot Hits her brothers and sisters as well as swears at them. We have been trying to get help for her for the laast 12mths and keep getting doors slammed in our face. It has got that bad that the wife and I have stooped to putting soap on her mouth telling her it is because of her dirty mouth. I have had to smack her with a belt, something Iam so against but she pushes us so far. We have tried all sorts of things like banning her from things, taking her mobile phone off her etc. My eldest hit her the other day due to her being disrespectful to us and having enough of her. She thinks because she pays $20 per week board as she works part time and we set this to teach them that they have to earn a living, she will not help around the house and expects me to pick her up and drop her off when and wherever she wants. She is even running the streets at all hours. Last week her friend and self dicided to go to child safety and tell them they where both being miss treated in there homes. For some reason her friend went straight to a halfway house but we where approached about the soap and the smacking with a belt. She had told them a whole heap of lies which where also bought out with the meeting. the social workers came to our house and could se the other kids where all happy and in harmony and that they had everything they could ever need. Anyway a temporary agreement was made up, my daughter broke every agreement And guess what, they have done nothing about it. hell the daughter is running the streets right now, and who knows where. the social workers made a big fuzz over it all, sending us to a counciller that our daughter wouldn't attend today. We expressed our problem and fears for her safety and the families. we where told because she is 15 that there is nothing they can help us with. Bang just wasted our time smashing our heads into another wall. How stuffed up is the system, we give our children a good stable life trying to keep them away from drugs and achole. yet these parents who dont care never get the problems. Saturday night my wife ended in hospital with very high blood pressure and some sort of reaction with her right side of her face swelling real bad. this was probably due to the hell the daughter dished out saturday. the hospital kept her in from 11pm to 5am sunday. I have no option but to keep her locked out now till someone offers her help. Even my relatives and friends wont take her for fears of coping the same. Sorry if I have turned anyone off in having children, suppose I bad egg in 4 isnt to bad. Just a bit advise, if you have a girl return it and ask for a boy. All those probs aside, it is wonderful watching them grow and succeed in there strengths. Also played junior league with the boys not girls and got best back in her first season. second season was best player first 4 games then the boys stopprd passing her the ball must have been getting there noses out being out played by a girl. they syill loved her though and didnt snub her. the second eldest has always been very good at art and drama. My eldest son is learning how to work around cars and doing well. Its very good as I can trust him to do things like remove and fit parts, sometimes needing some teaching along the way with complex things. Iam currently showing how to strip down a ba atmo engine. He has helped me with every mod to my T. it is a blessing having him help me since I have a bad back. And my little man, well just so clever he picks up everything, he's a little poser and real lady's man. Help with choosing a good street track friendly daily driver gear ratios Car is a BA 1 XR6T originally T5 but upgraded to T56 Running Xforce 3.5 system, Nizpro Valve springs and injectors, walbro pump and custom tune unknown made 275rwkw pre x-force exhaust being fitted at 12psi Pedders lowered to legal height sports rider rear and extreme adjustable fronts I am running 265x30x19n Toyo Proxy 4's Just wondering what ratio would see me around 2400 at 100k Also just went to test and tune and had nightmare getting car off the line 2.3 to 2.6 60fts Had a lot of axle tramp warming tyres and first gear, had to ease off to soften axle tramping. think tramping may have been due to the standard bump stops bottoming as only have approx 30-40mm clearance when car parked. or unless the centre bush has let go. Another point why times where down would probably be the fact that Iam crossing the line outside powerband in 3rd and 4th. To get it pushing accross line in 4th I had to short shift 2nd and 3rd. If I used power each gear till it rolled off the powerband I would be very low in the revs 4th not pushing hard. If I held it to 3rd it was well over its powerband and must have been very close to revlimiter Reaction time (crap) .651 Havn't raced strip since mid 90's 60ft 2.309 330ft 6.140 660ft 9.231 MPH 79.67 KPH 128.22 1000ft 11.893 ET 14.153 MPH 99.80 KPH 160.61 Very disappointed as on the street it feels alot stronger than a standard T. Have beaten FG F6 A on private race track from rollin start 60k to 120k but only just by approx car length. and they are suppose to run 13.3s I am also about to fit a 600x300x76 HDI GT Spec cooler Plazmaman piping, Airbox & Plazmaman Plenum, Siemen Daka's. when I fit the above gear I will only be running soft tune to protect BA bottom end till I complete my engine build. Might push it to approx 350rwkw if able to control boost set to 8 - 10psi Engine maybe still 12 mths away to complete. So will need to work out ratios to suit current, Induction upgrade and after engine build thinking 3.9 to 4.1 ratio Would like to keep car just below boost at 110k so dont end up accidently speeding and having to make donations to QLD revenue office or pollies. Another thing is Iam thinking to run some ET Streets but being a rag tyre will I beable to run them with the radials on front (Back mid 90s it was a no at the track) or will I need to run rags on the front.

Surely the pedders suspension cant be any worst than standard suspension in keeping the rubber on the black stuff. Think I will be looking for some lower gears to help with my 60fts and get me into 4th gear accross the line, I was changing into top at approx 4500 in 3rd to use 4th to cross the line in 4th low in the revs just starting to come onto power. Or hold 3rd pulling approx 5500rpm crossing the line. Couldn't win either way I was running out of puff in 3rd or just starting to power in 4th. One run slipped the clutch too much. For the guys who need a AS/NZS1698 standards helmet, I scored one today at Pro Yamaha Motorbike Accessories shop 69 Moss street Slacks Creek ph (07) 3299 1999. Road full face helmet (RXT Helmets) Was apparently only $130 On special for $75 If anyone gets one just make sure you get the right one as there are some on same shelf that are still AS1698. Yer Yer I have a big head being XLarge, Must be all the brains in it, pitty I dont use it to full effect. Get this checking under car for loose turbo to manifold bolts, all good but the turbine (Exhaust) housing to body had 2 bolts approx 10mm out. Only thing stopping them from going any further was the oil feed banjo and return fitting. Being noticing it to be a bit down on power as late, weather because of the hot climate running standard cooler still or hopefully this loose housing was the reason. Will know shortly as I head out for a test run.

Dont drop your tyre presure on your radials as all it will do is make the car unstable at the top end. We tried to do that with radials on a 540hp clevo powered XW until a professional racer came up and asked us what we where doing, as we thought it was the thing to do also. He explained how you do it with drag rubber as it is designed to be run at low pressures and that street tyres work best at there recommended pressure. With the street tyre the side wall and the tread roll up giving less tread contact, as with drag rubber the sidewalls crease up but the contact area flattens giving more contact area. Typhoon freak if you get some rubber becareful not to break your driveshafts. And if you run street rubber best off trying a few options on your launch. Try to ease of in 1st then work with 2nd. If you launch in 2nd you will either bog it down or fry it, will be a lot harder to get a good launch.

Looks like my kids get a AGV helmet, that's had little use to play with. maybe safe enough for them to ride there scooters with unless the standards have also changed for them. I will try to join you guys Saturday if I can find a helmet by then, may still turn up and watch anyway.

Yes would agree with that, you had to read section to work out what they where on about. My comments on them liking it was how they said you would have to spend bmw or merc to get as good (not exact on words as in lounge room and book is in bedroom and dont really want to wake missus at this time) Bit like the previous issue with the Shelby GT500 SuperSnake they put against the w427 sh*tter, they have writen that the w427 is the better car but have no explaination as to why they feel that way unless there comment of the SuperSnake having to much power is there reasoning. I have had my x-force 3.5 with sep screamer into 3.5 system with its twin tail tips exit on my BA XR6T for approx over 12mths car was making 275rwkw prior and could feel the differane when fitted eg turn tyres 2nd coming onto boost where it didn't do it previously, was fitted with at time 265x30x19 nankangs (yes I know they are sh*t tyres) just giving a perspective on power increase. Once I fitted a pair of Toyo Proxy 4's I had to upgrade from the single plate excede to a CI twin plate kit which I scored for under $1300. This clutch has been very good except the mild shutter when trying to ride the clutch. The system is not loud or tinny like some may have you beleive, It does sound great under full throttle, gives a little rumble when cold and is only slightly louder than standard at idle and cruising. I have had many a compliment on the sound of it. I have only heard a few that sound better eg typhoon_freak , that just sounds so deep and smooth. Whatever he has on his I would be suggesting you fit. Think from when I last spoke to him on a cruise he said he was running 4" dump to 4' cat into twin 2.5" to quad exit. May pay to ask him direct for exact details.

Go to a wheel engineer and have the hats drilled for ford patern. Only other problem would be the disk offset. Why is he friend taking them off, he wont get much better that will warrent any upgrade. Or is he selling the car or written off.

sounds like you are running to high on your tyre presure. Only thing I know that will cause a tyre to wear in the middle of the tread unless you have some serious hp and the tyres are ballooning. If the tread looks like it is uneven on the tread block then maybe to much toe in or out.
