I have found this at autobahn. It is a media control center that has the correct outputs as per the BA/BF spec. It is similar to the MM5400

It is the MM2300 designed specifically to connect to the screens in the ford. pretty cool device I think. No need for the convertor for the front screen any more and you get the ability to watch different things on each monitor.

Sounds like a winner, but the big question is how much

I think it is roughly $350inc RRP. Im sure you could get it for the $300 mark which is what the pal to ntsc rgb convertor costs anyway.

I thought it was up near the $1000 mark. If it's $300 that's ferral cheap.

Hmm ... Read the breakout at the bottom of the second page:

"A MI2300FP package is available to suit all

Ford vehicles with a premium colour screen."

Wonder what is in this kit ?

I got a price on one of these today from Autobahn. They want $399 for the unit.

Then you apparently need a remote as well $79.00.

It won't work without the remote but it's not included :spoton:

Alpine RRP $999, VDO RRP $399 (plus $79 Remote), no comparo in my opinion, now to find a good installer to get this hooked up :spoton:
