Trans temp + Engine Temp

Hey again, without changing the factory cooler for the trans to a front mount cooler, is there a specific bung/hole to read the temperature for the 6 speed auto? And without putting and adaptor in the radiator hose to read the engine temp, is there a bung/hole to read the engine temperature? or can I piggyback off a factory sender without causing issue's with the ECU for both the trans temp and engine temp? .................both set-ups would be for electrical gauges...

Cheers!!

you can get ZF 6speed temp from it's fluid or I'm pretty sure via the ODB.

for engine temp, just use the stock gauge or use the connection point to put in a t-piece to run to somewhere else.

Haha actually that's a screenshot from my video when I broke my nizpro input shaft at wakefield and id pulled off the side of the track.

Normal temps im seeing mid winter are 110-115 engine and 105-110 zf

Which is way better than 125 and 120 pre extra cooling and with less laps

Shouldnt have broken. 409rwkw e85 gtx3576 gen 1 used slicks on the rear 3-4th shift... lame as, mate with similar power and doin more track than me had no issues with a cryo input shaft. Safe to say it now has a 6r80 input shaft and so far so good

Yep pretty boring and just bang, no limiter bashing nothing I hadnt done before with that exact shift at that speed. Ill never know what caused it, could have been anything from metallurgical failure to the zf tune but I was pretty unlucky at my power level and application.

More of my tail of woe was documented over here How to remove zf 6 speed
