Thanks guys much appreciated. So if I use e85 the pump will be too small ? Or does the same apply for petrol also? For around the 450rwkw mark? Thx.

I reckon your pump would go very close to 450rwkw on 98.

Just remember that E85 requires 30% more fuel volume for the same power.

What is the pumps rating at 4 bar. I make my power on E85 with as bout 300l/h.  So should go 450 on E85.  Plenty on 98

ID1000’s will go 550rwkw with 4bar pressure and 95% DC with 0.85 lambda target on E85

That pump is an intank pump and iirc isn’t a high pressure one so it’s capable supply is limited by the head pressure that it will need to work at ( boost pressure on top of delta 4bar ) so it’s on paper limitations will be vastly different to actual ability

either way it'll be a great pump to use as a lift pump to an aftermarket surge tank arrangement that you’ll need for a B series tank ;)

So use this pump as a lift pump for a surge and single 044 or would two 044s be the go? Or is two overkill?   Cheers.

Why do people keep wanting to use 044's?

They're old sh*tty pumps that don't handle ethanol well and are noisy as hell!

They were cool and the go to pump like 15 years ago in the VL scene when 300rwkw was an absolute weapon [emoji849]

Why not setup a proper surge, either in-tank or out with some decent Walbro or Deatschwerks pumps?

A single Walbro 525 is good for ~ 470/480rwkw @ 0.8 lambda with upto 25psi ontop of delta on E85 and is a great intank option but will require an aftermarket FPR to manage the High pressure it operates at.

Thankyou jet. And will they fit standard hanger? Just swap over pumps and away you go?
