I have 2003 ba xr6 turbo which recently had a custom tune. was going well. parked one night and next day not going so good. won't rev past 3000 under load, backfires and no turbo. when it does rev past 3000 acceleration very slow. will rev happily when parked. any ideas?

Going into limp mode/protection mode. What has been modified?

new upgraded fuel pump and increase boost to 8psi. other than the tune nothing else done. has been going fine for two weeks after the tune and started playing up overnight. was fine one day and not the next. thinking its a sensor

Fuel Pump replaced...

 

 

 

 

Now has lean issues under boost..........

 

I'll take split fuel hose in the tank for $50 thanks Eddie.

problem solved ..... when they replaced fuel pump they didn't put clamp on line from tank. this had come loose and was sucking air instead of gas. one hose clamp later problem fixed

Who fitted it, sounds like a crap install if they don't double check there stuff. You're lucky it wasn't a different connection and sprayed petrol everywhere!
