I was going to do a 5 link as ive seen Dans set up in person and seen how his ute handled on a cruise as I was behind feeling every bit of roll and bumps which made my ute slide very often when his just sat gripped and slingshot out of the bends.... but I use my as a ute and 5 link is maxed at 250kg.

Fronts need new shocks badly and going to get new control arms with a 10mm spacer made up so I can put some wider tyres on the front and just going to put new struts sssl springs and sways front and rear

what shocks from the Dan guy? no rear shocks?

Dan is @OZYWALKER

Without a doubt one of the best suspension set ups on a ute going

Besides the 300zx rear? But that's an all out track car.

@BAXRTUTE if you want to throw a load in the back, don't get sssl leaves....I've got new(ish) ssl kings now and it sits pretty bloody low in the arse end.

Anything over 100kg in the back and decent sized speed bumps become like land mines...you creep over diagonally with teeth gritted and wait for the bang/scrape

Unless you get some ultra heavy duty leaves? But then it'll be pretty bouncy unless you do have some weight in the tub.

yeah wow you gotta be able to do a skid over a speed bump while the trays loaded. otherwise it's just unaustralian.

Hahaha,

The xr mite be in retirement in the new yr anyways looking at a bt50 as the new work ute.

So depending on funds a 5link mite still be an option, though 5k just for the rear end is steep
