Worked out I can get a f6 typhoon motor for 2700, but minus accessories so just use my turbo and manifold and all sweet.

And wiring loom. What model f6 is it?

So I purchased a ba mk11 xr6 turbo for a fairly reasonable price, drove it for a week and a day before it went bang.

Heart sank for a split second but smile appeared rather hastily as the realisation of bigger and better set in..

Am getting a typhoon engine to slot in and build upon. Don't wanna go overboard, just a nice streetable daily that can take care of itself on the odd track day/ strip run.
