Silverfox666 Member 117 Member For: 11y 8m 25d Gender: Male Location: Sydney penrith Posted 31/12/14 11:06 PM Author Posted 31/12/14 11:06 PM I got it from fordpro wreckers , it was in perfect condition , and still is I released the centre bearing bracket just last week end and checked the rubber for any splits or fatigue and all looks good , the only thing I noticed is the bearing sits low in the rubber closer to the bottom edge of the bearing bracket , is that just the weight of the shaft and bearing doing that or does everybody else's tailshaft sit in the middle of the bracket while stationary ????Should the sedans have a spacer between the floor and the centre bearing bracket a silly question but just asking because that might centre the shaft inside the bearing bracket and rubber and just wondered if it should have spacers but are missing for some reason

Legacy Donating Member 23,708 Member For: 18y 3m 20d Gender: Male Location: Adelaide Posted 01/01/15 10:39 PM Posted 01/01/15 10:39 PM Some are sealed some are changeable If u have the spring clips holding the uni cups into the yoke you can change it with a press or good bench vice If there is no spring clips then its the sealed unit and it needs to go to somewhere like hardie spicer so they can press the old stuff out and new stuff in Take a pik of what u got and ill tell u how to do it 2
