What model?

Some very early BA's didn't have the VIN recorded in the PCM and that causes issues for the tuning software. It can be worked around though.

Nah a tuner said it needs replacing. Worked plenty of cars never heard of this

Ive just been told they cant tune it before I spend more on new ecu. Is it possible due to bad firmware? or is this bloke having a go
