Ok so the general consensis is get a good cooler, tbat leaves the question do I just get a full turbo back zorst now or can I live with the factory dump pipe and new cat.....whats the surge tank do? Haha dont everyone sigh at once please

New parts list

plazmaman hotside race intake and batt relo (already have)

Pwr stepped intercooler (anyone want an f6 cooler for $200)

Injectors 60lb (will they be big enough)

Either just a venom cat or full X force turbo back system?

Do I need an actuator or not its only $180

I done -

ID1000's

Venom 100cpi Cat (Awesome!!)

Cheap Stepped Cooler (Restrictive to internal airflow)
Tune

Made 298rwkw.

Stock fuel system.

Exhaust all stock (except Cat).

ok sweet that's some light at the end of the tunnel right there....

im sure the id1000 are hectic but 60lb will be fine for my application.

With thevmore pricey cooler and massive intake ill hopefully get an extra 2rwkw ontop of yours to make 300

Yes run the actuator if you are running dump or full system boost can then be controlled so when it hits boost it will hold it and not drop I'd go a full system but like said your exhaust and venom cat will do the job

speak to your tuner as you re getting contradictive answers, if you supply a package that does not get what ever results you want, then you are responsible.

for 300 F6 injectors are better than siemens 60 lb injectors

the 60lb injectors are going to require rail spacers to fit

the 60 lb injectors will not give as a nice idle as f6 or ID1000 injectors, not matter who tunes it

many will tell you that their 60's idle fine, many have no idea about what is actually going on and it's normally fussy owners that pick up on it

the f6 cooler is not great at that power level and forget about what people are saying about it being consistent from one dyno run to another, or for racing. Every time the car makes boost it is generating heat, so a blast through a couple of gears is like doing several dyno runs and fact is even with 1 dyno run if the heat is getting higher then the ecu will be pulling spark, so fact s just 1 dyno run will normally get higher rwkw numbers with a decent cooler and also be able to back it up.

the car is not going to hold higher boost in the top end and fall off due to being the small turbo

What he said

I ran 315rwkw on 98 with the stock pump and id1000s

Actuator really isn't needed as it's not the limiting factor on your turbo

good cooler, injectors and cat.

Xcal and a tune

Look above. That will do.

Get your tuner to use the cooler, cat and injectors he prefers , THEN you will get the best results
