Got my next twin 2.5 inch system and 4" dump ready to get fitted on Thursday and hopefully tuned the following day or so.I dont know not gonna argue with one of the best tuners in adelaides advice. Guess we will find out when its chucked on the dyno.

Awesome read. Thanks ratter. Interesting how much of a power loss their was. Ill post up the results from when I get my car retuned and see if their is a similar difference. Tuner said It will make a massive difference removing the single 3".

Whats a 'j' pipe?

Basically a pipe that loops back towards the front of the car, it's a tuned length & capped. Basically takes part of the pulse & neutralizes it. When it's tuned correctly, you can run the car down the highway, stop & bear hand the cap. It'll be completely cool to the touch. When you rev the engine past the tuned length of the pipe, the noise comes back pretty quick

Just pipe/resonance chamber = not same/same but close.

Any body remember the dog turds hanging off the intake in the e series V8s?

That article there for their Highflow Dump/Cat suggests a stock FG cat back can flow well for 400rwkw guess that's questionable after reading info on here?
