As you may know I have been wanting to fit a 305 rear tyre on my car for a while.

First step was purchasing the wheels............

Found a set of 19" Axis Hiros in 8.5 front and 10.5 rear with minor gutter rash on the rear 2 wheels.

Next was trying to get a loan tyre for a test fit, called 5 shops and they all said they didn't have any,

so contacted vevapower who was glad to help and within no time had a loan tyre for me to pickup.

305/30/19 mounted to the 10.5 rear

Next shot is the current 275 Hankook on my 9.5 rear

This is the 305 on the 10.5 but in order for it not to rub on anything we needed to use 6mm of spacing

So once we make some small mods to the car we can remove the spacing and it should sit a further 6mm inwards.

After that the wheels will be repaired and painted charcoal to match the bottom side skirts.

12mm plates have been made, may be able to test fit early next week.

If all is well then it's tyre purchase time !!!

Just need to decide between Invos or RS3's

I totally missed this thread, I ran 295/35/19 Federal 595rsr's for a while. They measured 309mm shoulder to shoulder on a 9.5Axis hiro.

I made up spacers similar to yours for the Control Blades (if I seen this thread sooner I would have given them to you! I binned them a couple of weeks ago)

I had to roll the shiiit out of the guards and trim the body work where the bumper meets the bumper inside the guard.

tractions was not and issue!
