I'm in the market for a brand new oil billet cap.

I know you had a *beep* of a time with the cap on your BA, but weren't the issues fixed on the FG? (they no longer disintegrate and fall into the rocker cover)

Better safe than sorry.

I got a red one from autobarn for $20. Sprayed it black and happy days.

Use your power to remove some of them, or at least update them ;)

Okay so got this sometime in last week or so but only got a round to putting it on today (wanted to do it whilst the engine was cold).

The product looks well made in real-life.  Solid CNC billet.  Didn't have to swap the O-ring seal from the OEM cap onto the billet oil cap because it came with one.

Screwing it on - no issues with the thread - went on easily.  Seemed to come off okay as well.

Will let you know how it goes if any issues crop up with it - but looks okay so far.

Here are some close up pics.

In my opinion the quality of the CNC was top job - well polished finish and no sharp edges to cut yourself on.

Here's what it looked like installed in my engine bay.
