What Polish Do You Use?

I like meguiars because even with the paint cleaner and wet look wax you can be done in a fraction of the time a claybar takes..

I use a combination of poorboys/meguiars/autoglym depending on what im doing. Going to buy some merzerna or juice products this week to try.

Nu Finish, the stuff in the bright orange bottle.

Bullet proof shine that last a year and can also be applied in full sun with a damp rag.

I find the Meguiars Ultimate wax and Ultimate polish makes the car look pretty glossy. For over the counter products they seem fine to me.

Though if you have fine clear coat scratches and swirling, which pretty much every car has, it might need a professional buff...

Though it's only a matter of time before the swirls come back...

There is a good Australian site which sell allot of decent stuff and can give you good advice...

I swear by this stuff if your wallet is big enough, I've used all other off the shelf brand Meguirs, autoglym etc and in my opinion gtechniq blows it away

Definitely depends how much you wanna spend.

There's a UK bloke that charges over £2200 for a full detail.

Pretty high carnauba content and the wax is hand kneaded into the paint after serious clay work.

Cent remember his name or anything but pretty intense stuff.

Your final finish will depend on the preparation.

The more time you spend clay barring, cleaning, paint preparation etc will dictate how good the final shine is. Even the best polish will look terrible if the paint underneath is contaminated.

I use a mixture of Autoglym, Mothers, and Meguiars. Im using the Mothers clay bar at the moment, so far so good.

So, upon reading everyone's great feedback.. All I need to do is scrub the car (wash it), anything I can't get off use a clay bar, then apply one of the many polishes listed above?
